Would costs us a lot of 1sts to bring in both OG and Vanderbilt.

It really depends on what teams you can get involved and what kind of players they have to give up. For instance player wise could work something like this (involves all rumored teams and players)
Jazz: Collins, Graham, Hayes
Raps: Beasley
Clips: Conley
Hawks: Covington, Kennard or Jackson (depends on if they would prefer long term contract or expiring)

If we could facilitate a trade like that, then it shouldn't cost more than the 1sts that we would need to send for OG anyway.

Atlanta would likely be happy with the return they get on those players, Clips want Conley so they would be happy, Utah wants Collins and them taking Graham is just the cost of Pels facilitating the deal.

There’s alot of different angles that can be worked without giving up a bunch of picks, nobody though Clips could get Powell last year with the poo poo platter they sent out.

A 5 team trade? Are 3 1sts not a lot of 1sts? Too many moving parts for something like that to make everyone happy.

5 team trades happen, not often but they do as a result of a team wanting to make a trade and getting multiple suitors involved.

Im just saying thats a baseline of things that could happen and everyone is happy and you dont give up alot.

And no 3 1sts is not alot when youre getting an all star caliber wing and one of the better small ball 5’s in the league on a damn good contract, while dumping Graham’s salary next year.

However you could do things differently and cut Toronto out and take Beasley

Myles Turner now makes 21.5m per year.

This year plus 2.

All star CALIBER

That means he’s on the level of being an all star player and may one day make it.

I’m not sure we could poach OG but I believe GTJ should be easily attainable.

John Collins replacing Jonas would usher yet another era of Pelicans Basketball but it feels like the team has already been transitioning to their true identity, SMALL BALL DEMONS.

I could see this Blockbuster Trade bringing this franchise to the

That would be very tough to say no to, but I think clippers should have to send out more than 2nds. Take out one of our firsts and have Clips add a first or Mann to Toronto or ATL and then i think it would be more balanced.

would do a direct Jax for Curry swap though (Jax to a 3rd team for another piece of course).

Why would the nets do that?

Not sure why the Nets would need us to facilitate that? They could just trade Curry without involving us.

I would disagree. He would have a large hill to climb to ever become an all star given the quality of wings.

Because in that case we would want Curry…

Is it really that hard to understand?

Get a guy that is better than JV and can run with the team/play with Zion in the front court.

Get a guy that is the poor mans version of Bogdan.
Burks has a Team option for next season for 10m as well.

We would be obv a tax team come next year but if Willie cant win with that team then he needs to be canned anyway.

More importantly we keep the Lakers pick swap this year and there pick outright next year.

This trade is essentially a 3 year championship window starting now.

Everyone needs to stop the Ayton fantasies, we are not adding a 4th max guy to this roster

Per Mike Scotto with Hoopshype, we have been involved with Malik Beasley and also Utah has been having talks of moving Vanderbilt. They’re asking for “1st round pick value” for each of them, which maybe where the Naji talk has come in.

From that same article it also continues to look less likely that Detroit trades Bogdonavic.

Really no reason for them to rush. He's on a long enough contract to wait and he's not really affecting their tank so they don't have the need to move him now.

The issue is the further into the tax you go, the bigger the penalty is and I'm confident that's wayyyyyyy deeper than we'll go by like $20mil+

And you haven't even factored that you took in 2 guys and sent out 5, so you'd have to replace multiple roster spots as well.
