What the OP needs to do is go out into the woods, find a 700lb grizzly bear and try to fellate it.

I sound stupid? I use periods and capital letters. I'll let that go though. Once again you don't tell me why my idea is stupid. Please point out to me what is stupid about trading a player and getting value for him? Cleveland wouldn't do it, and we see how that worked out for them. If we could get a package like Denver got for Melo, I would be all for it.
Yes, Jack was a starter. I think that would prepare him to be the PG on a team with a ton of young talent. Talent we would get by trading Paul. Once again this is my opinon , and if you would like to tell me intelligently why you disagree I'm all ears.

Your from the westbank. This is what expect from people on that side of the bridge. Do you have season tickets? You were born in 87 so you were 12 or 13 when the Hornets got here? If y'all really wanted the best for the franchise you would understand, that when Paul leaves in FA we got nothing but the shaft.

Ironic while trying to insult someone's intelligence. Keep making comments like that and you will easily be banned.

So taking a shot at where someone is from will get me banned, but telling me to fellate with a grizzly bear is cool? Just want to make sure I know the rules. I'm not trying to flame here. I honestly believe it is in the best interest of the franchise to get the maxium value for Paul. Especially since Jack is servicable.

So...
Not many landing spots for Paul....

Paul and 2nd rounder for Eric Gordon, aminu, and mo Williams plus 1st rounder.

Or

Paul and Anderson for dj, Stephen Jackson and thomas

I will admit that I don't know what else is out there. I do beleive that the CBA will determine alot. As will ownership. I just don't want to end up like Cleveland. If D West and Paul take off, the starting five would be Jack, Oak, Ariza, Belli, Landry? Maybe I should have rephrased my post to say "who could we trade Paul for in the offseason?"

Interesting very interesting so mr flagg what would you do if CP3 didnt want to play here and wanted a trade like Melo make a trade up to a team CP3 would want to go.

IDK I guess something with Clippers bringing in picks, Kaman, and young talent.

Maybe work something with Portland also.

I think CP3 stays. I think it is highly likely some nice deals materialize better than what the Knicks could even think about offering.

Clips ain't trading Gordon.

Best thing you can get from them is Bledsoe, Williams, Aminu and first rounder. Have them send Kaman to a third team and have third team send us another young piece. Send back Emeka and CP3.

We need to trade him to LAL for Bynum and Shannon Brown. They aren't going to run the triangle after Phil leaves and CP would love to be their next leader.

Thanks for the insight. I think something along these lines would be great.

Not a chance LA would do that. Hell they didn't even want to trade Bynum for Carmelo who has ZERO injury risk at this point. Plus I think Shannon is a FA.

When Paul gets back can we put Jack at the starting 2 or keep him as a backup but I am sure he will get more minutes

There is like a million things wrong with this statement! D-West needs to go not CP3! Jack is a good backup but is not a starter. He can not put up the same numbers as CP3 every night.

You should never say that again...FACT!

It isn't stupid to suggest the possible trading of Paul. A lot of it depends upon what happens at the end of the season. I don't think it's a foregone conclusion that Paul will want out. I don't think he'll pull a LeBron. If he wants out I believe he'll be forthright about it to management.

I'm not convinced Jack is a full time starter, but he's been playing well.

Because of Paul's value to the team that goes far beyond what he does on the court, you'd have to think long and hard about a trade. You'd have to get back a star in return, imo.
