Everyone says paul wants out. Question: When did this actually come out his mouth. I remeber paul saying he loves N.O. and wants to stay, he just wants to play for an organization committed to winning. Now considering the old ownership trading our best big man, im not surprised that paul had questions. I think Lebron/Melo situation is diff from ours. Lebron and Melo made comments about their desires to play someone else. Paul just wants to play on a team with a chance to win which he hopes is here

nobody is going to want paul for one year. and the team only team that is rumored he wants to go to is the knicks, whom just traded away all of their trading pieces. so if there is another team out there who paul would want to be with long term other than them, and they do have the pieces to put together a deal legit enough for us to consider. I really dont see paul leaving though, unless he continues to not play up to par.

because of Paul's value to the team that goes far beyond what he does on the court, you'd have to think long and hard about a trade. You'd have to get back a star in return, imo

This, you have to get some kinda superstar or superstar in the making for cp3. Im all for trading him, because I also don't think he's the same player since knee surgery, but its hard to get people to a game now, much less to watch a lot of mediocre players with no name recognition. Which in turns puts the hornets somewhere else
