Eric Bledsoe and Clips 1st
The Clips don't HAVE a 1st.
We got their one from Minnesota. Boston's got the other one, which is either #21 or #22.
And Bledsoe's not worth moving back 11-12 spots in this draft.

Rondo
for
Aminu
Vasquez
Henry
#10
... Works Cap wise and they get an abundance of youth to help kick-start the rebuild.
Hornets:
Rondo - Jack
Gordon - Jack - Marco
Ariza - MLE
Davis - Smith - Ayon
Okafor - Smith - Ayon

Rondo
is untradeable. Boston was willing to part with him earlier in the year because it sounds like he's a huge a-hole off the court, but after his performance in the playoffs no way could Boston trade him without a fan revolt. You won't even see a Rondo for Gasol deal.

Another headcase at times....DeMarcus Cousins, who can be a really nice kid off the court wanted out of Sacramento. I don't think he would hesitate to play alongside Davis. He could offer on the court protection to AD from some cheap shots that he will inevitably get.

Only because Westphal was a joke of a coach. Once he was fired, Cousins was one of the best big men in the league. If there was a way to get Cousins by dealing #10, an EG/Davis/DMC core would be incredible

I like the idea of:
#10 + Ariza to Houston for Kyle Lowery + #14 (or #16)
1) Lowery wants out of Houston,
2) We need a scoring PG to compliment EG,
3) Ariza is still only 26 and an elite wing defender
4) We only move dow a few spots and still have another pick

Only problem with that trade is Houston would have to accept it. And they're one of the smartest teams in the league.

ya, i don't know if Houston wants Ariza...He shot 39% there.

Why is Evans considered a lesser player than Gordon? He is stuck on a horrible team with no direction, but his numbers are almost identical to Gordon. He's a year younger and has only played in only 13 fewer games..
E. Gordon- 6'3, 215, 23 years old
18.2 ppg, 2.7 rpg, 3.3 apg, 1.1 spg (35.7 mpg)
T. Evans- 6'6, 220, 22 years old
18.2 ppg, 4.9 rpg, 5.3 apg, 1.4 spg (36.2 mpg)
At a glance, which one looks like the better player or the one you would want to build around? You could base it around shooting %, but Gordon only shoots 1% better (although he is a much better 3 pt shooter).
If they could grab Evans with the 10th, I'd jump on it. That could be a really great, young backcourt.

Can Tyreke play the 3. We trade JJ for Rivers.
Rivers
Gordon
Evans
Davis
Smith

He plays the 3 for the Kings and I can see him thriving as a point forward, especially once he develops a perimeter shot. Why trade away JJ?

has shown ZERO capability of ever being able to develop a perimeter shot.

29, great contract, coming off a career year. Value will never be higher.

isnt he suggesting that trade?

I haven't heard anything about Tyreke demanding out, and if he did, I'm sure it wouldn't be for a trade that would make him a 6th man. As far as I've read moving Tyreke is coming from the Kings Front Office.
quote:
the Sacramento Kings have replaced Tyreke Evans at the top of podium with DeMarcus Cousins, and would now be open to trading the guard to expedite the team's grueling rebuild. Two years ago, Tyreke was a kid good enough to get a bad coach and a flailing GM contract extensions. Now, he's apparently gone out of style.
...Consider the reason Evans was moved to small forward this season: because the last player Petrie thought would make a big difference, John Salmons, was an abject disaster, surprising ... almost no one. Evans wasn't demoted -- Isaiah Thomas was promoted, and Salmons was demoted. That's the fact of it at least. Evans is still a starter, still taking plenty of shots, running plenty of the offense, stepping into plenty of the top defensive assignments. Evans' position was shifted primarily because Petrie's last big move (losing Beno Udrih, who played well with Evans, and adding Salmons) was a total failure.
And now we have chatter about not even offering Tyreke an extension in July, letting him get to restricted free agency in 16 months (!) and getting something for him before he leaves

What I've read is the Kings want Noah. Tyreke + 6 for Noah
Posted on 6/15/12 at 10:12 am to TigerinATL
U think 10 is too much to trade for Evans? If they are just trying to get something for him they are desperate. Just give them JJ and keep 10.
