If they are just trying to get something for him they are desperate. Just give them JJ and keep 10.

Because the Kings are not going to accept a trade of Jarrett Jack for Tyreke Evans.

I just mean if they are desperate to get something for him because he is gone after this next season they may take what they can get if nobody else wants him. But I know this probably won't happen

Now is not the time for them to take the lowball offer. If JJ was the only legit offer they got they'd be better off waiting for a better offer.

I haven't heard anything about Tyreke demanding out, and if he did, I'm sure it wouldn't be for a trade that would make him a 6th man. As far as I've read moving Tyreke is coming from the Kings Front Office.

Sorry I wasn't clear. I was just being a jackass about semantics. He said Tyreke wouldnt embrac a role as a 6th man until he was traded to the next team, which I thought the OP was suggesting.

I wasnt trying to suggest that Tyreke wanted out, or the Kings wanted him out.

I meant he wouldn't be ready to embrace the 6th man role until the 3rd team he goes to, not the 2nd team he's about to get traded to.

Why would you want a proven 20ppg scorer to be a 6th man? Also, he is only 22, he can develop a jump shot.. Kobe did, MJ did, hell even KG became a good jump shooter.. He is a franchise type player. I would trade Ariza and the 10th pick for him, maybe more... Gordon, Evans and Davis would be a great foundation..

He's a known diva. You could tell from his comments last year that Westphal LOVED Marcus Thornton because he gave him some sort of buffer/balance between his 2 head cases. I still question his attitude and think he needs to be broken by failing somewhere else first. I also see him as a 6th man on this team because Gordon needs guys that can play off ball which means hitting perimeter shots which Tyreke is bad at.

Why wouldn't you want a proven 20ppg scorer as your 6th man? To be fair he's not exactly a proven 20ppg scorer. He averaged 20 as a rookie and 17 and 16 the next 2 years. And it's not like being a 6th man is a bad thing, they have easily become the 3rd or 4th most important players on many teams.

I've already showed, he has the same scoring average as Gordon in almost the same amount of games and he's younger. He is a better ball handler than Gordon, so why would you want the ball out of his hands?

I see where you are coming from with the 6th man deal. But Evans has too much potential to limit to that. Honestly, he is a better player than Gordon and has more value. But it would be cool to play them together.
