If Gentry really does know he is getting fired I could see him telling Fletch. Gentry won’t believe he should be fired and use Zion’s health as an excuse.

Well this statement is just blatantly false. Anyone in this fan base that actually thought we were gonna make the playoffs in Year 1 of a rebuild already had way to high of expectations. We were a fringe playoff team at best, and had it not been for Covid we might have got the 8th spot.
This team showed flashes of playing great throughout the season, but they also showed their youth more often than not.
We have a young core, and in the next 3-4 years we should be knocking on the door of the WCFs and maybe even a championship.

LOL, shut the frick up.
The second we got Zion and BI, people were out here talking so much shite about how we were going to take down the Lakers.
Also, we never had peak-Zion so that plays into the disappointment.

I dont think anyone expected being the 2nd worst team in the West (Warriors get a pass....we know what they are gonna do when they get healthy).

Most rebuilds aren’t stacked with half the talent we have. Our team (on paper...and yes I know games aren’t played on paper) is loaded. The starting 5 should be excellent.

I keep refreshing the page expecting to see the news drop that Alvin has been let go. This is agonizing! I really feel our young core could make noise in the west under the right system.
