I can't believe favors is 28. He just has that grandpa run and grandpa facial expressions
it’s pretty annoying how he’s so stiff and unathletic he looks sometimes. I don’t know how he played PF for so long

All that extra time off you'd have thought zion would have been allowed to play more than 8 minutes a half
Maybe try paying attention.

They said he’d play in short bursts for this game. I don’t really agree, but what the hell do I know lol

I think Aldridge is too crafty and will use Williamson’s inexperience against him with fakes to get him off his feet and drive to the basket, lean in for a foul..etc Zion gonna need some seasoning before he’s ready to go up against a crafty vet like Aldridge.

Spurs are annoyingly well coached

But I’ll take only being down 9 after that shitty half

And because of that coaching we are going to have to play a perfect game the rest of the way.

BI has a history of having a poor first half and coming alive. Jrue as well. So I am not worried yet.

Honesty, I know it won’t happen, but I wish Zion would be first off the bench in the second. Start the fourth and then sub him in or not in crunch time depending on how it works. We really need to put out the best version of the lineup that has got 11 of our last 15 to start this half off right. Not playing the-growing-together game against such a well coached playoff hunting team.

Maybe it was pressure from the league since it’s a National TV debut.

Would like to see Jaxson’s length on Aldridge. See if he can guard without fouling for a few minutes

Spurs shooting 50% to the Pels 38%.

Zo/BK/Jrue 6 of 22 shooting

And we're down single digits, which is nothing in the NBA.

Very frustrating half of basketball but it’s pretty lucky that we are only down 9. Couldn’t throw it in the ocean for most of the half.

They’ve got to start knocking down some shots. And stop turning the ball over. It’s just basketball game.

Also...I would not start Zion the 2nd half. I would bring him off the bench.

Sometimes they just go down.

Hayes can block them too. The problem is that Aldridge can likely go right around him.

SHort bursts does nothing for Zion nor the team.

The way we have been handling this young man has been absolutely DUMB

I think Zion can dominate ball handling duties some nights when he gets his conditioning right and he’s playing 35-40 minutes

If Ingram was hitting anything at all we’d be right there with them

Pressure to what?

It wasn't a national game when it was announced.
