I didn't realize he'd been given a podcast with ESPN, his Pull Up with CJ podcast was always really good content so I'll have to follow this new pod. He said this new podcast will be a once a week deal.

That was very good insight from Ingram. He’s going to retire here. No doubt about that in my mind.

Youtube recently blocked at office network, any interesting tidbits you or someone could summarize?

Nothing earth shattering but it’s one of the few interviews you’ll ever get to see Ingram’s personal side.
- Went into the differences in experiences between High School, College, and NBA.
- tidbits about Coach K and Duke stories/experiences.
- His film study and his preference of watching old Bulls games over watching mindless TV.
- Transition to the traveling life of the NBA and how it was the most depressing time of his life.
- Differences between being on a team like the Lakers vs Pelicans.
- Shocked how good Trey got.
- Rookies acting and playing like Vets.
- Love for his teammates, Coaches, and CJ.
- Insight on how he feels about Willie and what makes him different from his past coaches.
-Mental health and Therapy.
- His feelings about last season and how he felt they could turn it around even before CJ came to town. Felt like they were in games at the end but needed to learn how to win them.
- His motivation to becomes the best player in the league and how it came about.
- His immense respect for CJ and how he’d do anything for his teammates because he loves them.
- excited about the season and having a chance with this group to play in the playoffs.
I’m sure I missed a lot more but that’s what I recalled.

Listened to a little bit of the B.I. interview. He talked about the people around him telling him if he had a bad 30 pt game, if his defense was bullshite, and how he wants to be the best player in the world. When he was on the Lakers his rookie season was his darkest times because he didn't know what was going on, but he went from feeling like he was on the same level as everyone to now being better than the people he plays against.

BI really a true old head.
He moves like a very mature adult. Kudos to him.

There’s going to be a 30 for 30 on this team one day. Just such a wild turn around in culture. And I think they are going to win big. They won’t accept anything less.
We need to win more so more people see BI, the person and player. I think the world will fall in love with him just like we have. That’s my guy now, ride or die.

This checks. He did it to Trey in summer league. Trey dropped 30+ points and while in post-game interview, BI said "dropped 30, played no defense". It came off as funny because everyone was laughing but I now believe he was serious.

I love BI so fricking much. We never get this kind of insight on him at all. Such a genuine dude that loves the game.

Love this interview. BI may not even know who the president is he's so focused on basketball.

he's not lying about the stands being empty. has always been really embarrassing.

Kinda tough to expect butts in the seats when you start 6-22 in 2019 and then Covid wipes out 2 seasons of being able to go to games.
That’s not even taking into account injuries and having bullshite players like Bledsoe openly not trying on the court.
Or the fact that a lot of fans live on the northshore and are wary about going to a crime infested city like New Orleans.
Despite the crime situation, now that we have a squad full of players that want to be here and no Covid restrictions, this will be among the heaviest supported teams in NBA History.

Im finishing up now and completely agree. BI is that guy you want for life on your team. Probably my favorite pelican ever.

Kudos to CJ on the new podcast. Good insight from BI and CJ into TM3 and Jaxson’s development. LOL at my guy BI on starting out each year as a .200 team but knowing they could be “really good” … delusional, but I felt the same way.
