I just read the article and was coming post this.

I personally think he will get moved in the offseason, unless someone comes with a godfather offer before the deadline

He’s playing up to his contract. There’s nothing about him on or off the court that leads me to believe that the front office or the fans want to trade him right now.

He has way more value to us than some late 1st and salary filler would.

Redick doesn’t want to be traded either. He came here with the specific goal of being groomed for the FO.

The Atlanta Hawks are among several teams expressing interest in trading for Clint Capela, sources tell Shams Charania of The Athletic. The Hawks have been active on the trade market seeking a center. The Hawks have also explored trades for Andre Drummond, Dewayne Dedmon and Steven Adams.

Sources: Lakers are actively working the phones. They are dangling Danny Green, Kuzma, and Quinn Cook. They are being very aggressive. They are motivated to make this year the year. This is the first time all year I felt confident that a trade may actually happen.#TradeSZN

From a Laker fan source, but he's usually pretty good with some of these

I really don't see what they plan on bringing in with those 3.

Maybe trade all them for Drummond, but not many people available that they can get without picks

green is clearly the best player among those three, problem is only a contender would want him, and we can assume the lakers are looking for a veteran difference maker. PHI needs shooting (check) but also ballhandling (emphatically not a check). MIL could use him but they’d have to send out someone like Bledsoe. MIA is not giving up one of their rookie guards for green, but maybe olynyk?

Ironically it’s the clippers who might be LALs best trade partner for Danny green

I would send out favors and two 1sts for turner.
Cash those lakers picks for turner and you’ve done pretty well

A turner/zion/Ingram frontcourt would be something else

Not sure why Atlanta would part with Collins. He sure seems to be part of their future.

I have no idea why so many think Turner is an upgrade to Favors relative to what we need, much less would be willing to give up Favors and firsts. Quality vet who’s producing at an extremely high and efficient level and has proven to be an invaluable commodity for our defense.

This team needs a backup big, a backup PG, and a backup wing. Nothing flashy. And the backup big has its drawbacks if it means Jaxson loses his minutes. Obviously if it’s the difference between making the playoffs as the 8th seed or not in Griff’s mind, he likely should go for it.

I like this team’s makeup a lot honestly. Nice mix of “growing pains” and “steady vets”. We all knew it would take time to gel, we just didn’t know the first 30 games would be a disorganized, injury riddled, dumpster fire.

No one wants to see this team in the playoffs if we’re healthy. We have size in the starting lineup, young legs, and a shitload of talent. If we made it in at 41-41, that would mean the #1 seed got lucky enough to pull a very young Pels team that went 35-18 over the last 2/3 of the season.

The Jrue/Lonzo pairing is the X factor here. When they play with confidence on both sides of the ball, this team becomes scary. I love their complimentary skill sets defensively. Lonzo is a great help defender and Jrue is a great on ball defender.

Exciting times ahead.

Yeah, the only thing that still concerns me even though the numbers are great, is the Favors and Zion pairing long term.

I think Turner would be an upgrade simply for his spacing
