On Hayes he said he knew going in he would play Melli over Hayes because he wanted a little more floor spacing with the way Milwaukee crashes the paint.

It wasn't in his plans to not play Redick, Lonzo and Bledsoe had it going so he didn't want to go deep into the bench.

Oubre isn't eligible be traded until Feb 6.

Man, I know that's a legit possibility, and that scares me. The Minny pick is top 3 protected and they're arse this year. Oubre is not good. Jax is finally looking like he may figure it out. I doubt they'd trade that Minny first without Hayes, but I'm not sure the salaries work with only Oubre, JJ, and Hayes anyway.

The Hayes reasons sounds legit, JJ reason on the other hand is suspect.

If we can get that 1st, I'm all for it even if it doesn't convey this year it's unprotected next year.

KAT will ask out soon, and they will be even more arse.

With that said, there's no way we would get that pick.

A top 3 protected pick from a shitty team alone for JJ would be amazing. If Jax gotta go, he gotta go

They just drafted Wiseman, be hard to see them trading a pick that valuable for another traditional 5.

Found it interesting SVG said JJ would be back "soon" and not the next game

That Minny pick would look awfully enticing to the Wizards...

IIRC those salaries would match up almost perfectly.

JJ's been murdering the rotation all year. Every other game he goes 0-6 and can't play D. Guy's in his twilight, good to see what it looks like when SVG isn't lighting minutes on fire for a guy with negative +/-

I hate to see JJ go. I’ve come to really like him after living my life hating him because of Duke. One of my most enjoyable basketball memories is LSU making him cry. But I’ve really enjoyed him as a Pelican. I think if he gets right he is still a real threat from 3.

I don’t want to lose him, but if it results in wins then I support it.

Why is it suspect? If Bledsoe, Hart, and Lonzo are lighting it up from 3, why would you want to sub in someone to shoot 3s who will likely hit at a lower rate and kill the team defensively?

We played 8 guys last night. He’s got to stop doing this. It’s one thing to not play Hayes and give those minutes to Melli. Giving JJs minutes to the staters is silly, and I know they played great.

And what the hell is wrong with Wenyen? Are we going to go through the season with 3 completely empty roster spots with wenyen/Hernangomez/Thornwell? So stupid to add these minimum guys and never play them when you had 3 2nd round picks you gave away.

Reddick was probably just sitting the front of a back to back. They don’t want to say they assumed they would lose to the Bucks and had him sit the first game.

I figured that too. They aren’t going to say that.
