He was pretty rough, but he’s a smaller catch and shoot, off-ball guard that’s expected to be some lead handler and creator for the summer league team. These guys he’s playing against are still NBA/fringe NBA players. Going in and doing and asking him to excel in the weakest part of his game isn’t an easy thing for him to do

Right so he clearly hasn’t improved any of his weaknesses from last year

And if he never does he can still be a long time NBA player as long as he excels in his role of “flamethrower” and learns how to play defense

He didn’t sit the bench last year because he couldnt be a lead guard or iso people all the time, he sat the bench because he was lost on defense. That’s the most important improvement

We're a little over two months since the end of the season. I think it's a little unrealistic to expect such a drastic change in that amount of time.

Christian Clark says Karlo is expected to get a roster spot. We can sign him to basically a 4 year minimum deal using the 2nd round exception. That’d be a good piece of business

Damn really wished we drafted Terrence Shannon Jr

I wish too

I actually like the reeves pick too but Shannon is legit and he fell.

He’s always been springy, but he looks like he’s filled out a little more and still has his same lift

He looked much more comfortable today compared to last year. He’s still is a work in progress, but he at least looked like he belongs on an NBA court now. If he gets 10-12mpg against 2nd units, I think will be able to hit the occasional wide open 3 and get a few of these:

Shannon looked really good! He was the best player on the court on offense and defense. Dude is a stud.

He was totally cleared of what apparently was a completely bogus rape allegation. The girl should be in jail

I agree and I love his talent. But Griffin would never take a chance on a guy like that.

You draw this conclusion from one Summer League game? Good lord.

His career isn’t necessarily over but he is never going to be the same as he was in college. That tends to be one of the most debilitating injuries for an athlete to come back from.
