Speaking of CJ and Dejounte Murray...the last thing we need...is

---CJ throwin' up 25 shots per game...repeat after me...WE ARE TANKING !!
CJ is NOT part of our future. I don't care if he goes 25-25 from the 3-pt line...it's merely taking away from shots that should go to other developing players who ARE part of our future. It MIGHT help build up his trade value ...but to be honest...by now, every other team knows exactly what value CJ DOES & DOES NOT bring to the table.
---On Murray...we should go ahead and tell him to quit shooting so much...and work on his assists and cutting back on the TOs. I think we recently started heading this direction with Murray. I also think Murray could be a solid piece for the Pels in the future...if he decides to concentrate on becoming a VERY good PG.
Once again...remind yourself...WE...ARE...TANK...ING !!! Not everything, is as it appears...when the Pels take the court. WE are doing a fairly good job with the tank...because probably 90% of the fans who watch a Pels' game, come away thinking the Pels were actually trying their best...to win that particular night. JMO...I COULD be wrong.

CJ, BI, Zion, Jose trade value > losing the few games we actually win this year.
We just went on a 1-11 run. I am 100% ok with losing 10 games and then one of those guys dropping 50pts for a single W.

Yep...this is probably the BEST way to mess around and win a game...especially since it was the Wizards and they are WITHOUT doubt, gonna finish in the bottom 2. I just don't want to make a habit of seeing CJ take so many shots. Or anyone else, for that matter. We have too many players that just don't want to pass the ball to an open teammate.
These next 50 games could be quite useful...assuming we use them to concentrate on our developing players.

I think everyone is just annoyed after CJ’s performance because he’s about as elite of a 3rd option as you could ask for if Z and BI were available but it’ll just never happen.

With Zion eventually coming back it’s unrealistic to think we’ll stay at the bottom 3. We’re gonna mirror the saints and win just enough to not get a top 5 pick

When you play a stretch of a soft schedule with several bottom feeders, you're going to win some games. Playing against the likes of Washington, Utah, Toronto, Portland, and Charlotte this month was always going to yield some wins.
It took a 50 point effort from CJ to beat Washington. I wouldn't hang my hat on the team suddenly beating the good teams with Green as the coach.

Completely agree. The way this team has played over the last 15 games since the majority of guys have come back has been shocking. I would argue we are playing way too much talent right now to remain bottom 3. When Zion returns, I actually would like to see us play well. That means that we weren't completely wrong. We will still get a top 10 pick this year and we will all be praying for some lottery luck.

Agree. Pelicans need to walk away from this season with Flagg or Harper. Keep losing.

I’d like for us to feature Zion for 5 games, and fool some dumb sorry arse front office that he is mind and body is right and he can take them over the hump
We can’t continue to not trade him when he is actually exhibiting value during the 35% of the time he plays.

Zion's minutes are going to be pretty restricted for quite a while. Not for tanking purposes, but because they won't want him to get re-injured in a meaningless season. Plus he's obviously going to come back in shitty shape.

That would be worst case scenario. I'm tired of these two franchises having a bottom 3 record, only to win a few meaningless games and then drafting 8-13. We NEED a top 3 pick in this draft.

Thank you.
It's one thing to win because your job depends on it.
It's one thing to win and still be fired regardless.
NFL at least you can find talent from drafting well anywhere. Not the same for basketball, you really need the top picks to secure the most talent majority of the time.
