Easy to blame CJ but he was one of 4 guys who accounted for over 90% of the points.
Their bench scored 37 while ours gave us 8. We didn't have any help.
This is the true answer. It’s not about CJ being a second or third option, it’s about CJ and BI being the only two guys on the roster (healthy at least) that can create. As great as even Trey has been, he’s not a guy that’s going to create his offense a bunch off the dribble. He’s a spot up shooter who has grown immensely at attacking close outs.

Exactly.
Willie should have gone back to JV in this 4th and had him dunking all over this team and getting KAT to foul out.

Yeah as fricked as this game is, it would be tied if CJ would make a simple and one that he is getting paid $35 mil a year for
I do give him some credit for perking up this half, but he played a really bad last 5 mins.

Loss here means we host OKC? Right?

With a messed up hand, he shouldn’t have fricking 23 shots. I’d rather have those shots for Trey
The problem is CJ knows how to create his own shot and Trey really doesn't and has to be set up, and we know this shite offensive gameplan we have doesn't get guys open looks when they can't create. Hopefully Trey will get there eventually though.

The entire team did

Exactly. And a hurt hand has nothing to do with giving zero effort on defense

we'll beat OKC (probably) then lose again @ Minny cause either 1) the training staff / team wont let zion play or 2) zion doesnt wanna play

Edwards has IT. Our guys don’t. Trey and Herb didn’t rise to the occasion tonight. Kind of disappointed.

The story of the season - injuries.
Even after coming back CJ, Jose and Nance not playing well.

I really can’t believe this team didn’t make it any further than they did last year . Even with Zion playing and the first seed at times

CJ is paid like a star and has overall played horrible this season. Your hand being hurt has nothjng to do with defense. If your hurt and hurting this team stop playing. Period.
Posted on 4/9/23 at 5:06 pm to 50_Tiger
OKC can shoot 3s, we can’t. If they get hot we’re in trouble
Posted on 4/9/23 at 5:06 pm to Pels_Yaz
hahaha of course CJ misses a layup. What a terrible terrible game he had
