Will it?

Yes. Just think of the kudos you can get if you called this right.

What about the question in the 2nd part of my post? What would be your max give for either player.

PG: Graham/Kira
SG: NAW/Naji/Temple/Didi
SF: BI/Hart/Satoransky/Murphy
PF: Zion/Wenyen
C: JV/Hayes/Billy

That’s 15 but we need a stretch 4 would have love it to be McDermott but that’s gone so we need to find a good shooting 4 for cheap somewhere. We might let Billy and Wenyen still walk too along with Hart although I hope not.

No, he'd just be a locker-room cancer.

He's going to get moved. My fear is that the Kings instead make a deal for Siakam.

Looks like Lauri is going to Charlotte but nothing official yet.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but the current roster sits at 15 not including Hart or Willy. I also believe the Charlotte trade has to be adjusted due to salary coming in. So I expect another move to be made any minute

We basically moved on from 3 of our starters, brought in 2 new starters, got rid of a team cancer, cleared room for NAW to start and got a new coach. And got two rookies who can possible contribute. He’s done a decent amount.

There were a few “biggish” names in FA, but nobody who made us a contending team by just signing them. It’s fun to watch the signings and trades and whatnot, but most teams aren’t signing Derozen and Lowry. Only two teams did that.

This isn’t a home run season, but we’ve hit singles and got men on base. Save the warchest for next years FA class where there will be lots of talent to sign or trade for.

We improved. I think a lot of us expected a little more.

We can still make other moves but time is running short.

I think we can be a playoff team as is.

I’d like to know we can be a playoff team though.

No. We can absorb into the Memphis deal until that trade is completed. Memphis will obviously want it done quickly so essentially 11am tomorrow is a deadline of sorts.

After that our options are more limited. Straight trades, MLE, etc.

I think we have a bit more time than 11:00am tomorrow if we can convince Memphis to push it back some because neither team plays their first SL game until Monday. I doubt it goes that long but I'm sure both teams could work it out to have a little more time to get something done.

Memphis will only do that for a very short period of time. Couple of hours at most. Any longer and it would need to benefit them.

There's no point in moving the deadline. Someone will blink or not when it hits. If no one blinks it's time to move on to the next contingency plan.

Right, I wouldn't expect it to go into Saturday...maybe just Friday evening, at worst.

Tomorrow morning will be telling since tomorrow is when RFA's can sign offer sheets. Hart is a huge domino.

You only move it if you have something in the works that you are close to finalizing. You don’t move it to keep searching and Memphis wouldn’t allow it.

Right. You know, we are all clamoring for the Pels to do something but you really haven't heard anything from the Grizzlies either...

This is mostly a joke. But did you see all the deals that were done within the first minute! I think 14 hours is plenty of time!

You answered your question yourself when you mentioned that it needed to be done by noon. Griff is likely still negotiating with both Utah and Sacramento to see which is going to give us the better deal.

We all have been hoping so for days, but so far purely just our speculation.
