Actually, last year's regular season numbers were:

15th in 3-pt% at 36.4%
11th in FT% at 79.3%

Sound the alarm bells!!!

It’s really hard for me to get too worked up about shooting numbers while one of the 15 best shooters in the league is out

This franchise has burned the fans so much going back to the Shinn era without ever rebuilding any of that trust that everyone is overreacting to small sample sizes because they think they've seen this story before and can guess where it's going. It's going to be like this all season. Just wait until Zion's first minor bump or bruise.

Tyreke, Herb, and Ingram are a few more notable ones

Herb isn’t good, Ingram never shoots 3s, Tyreke had one good year here and barely attempted 3 attempts a game

I am mostly mad at myself for almost getting sucked in again.

I think BI of curing me of that.

yes I know, still being a 33.9% career 3pt shooter isn’t something to toot Fred’s horn for

Going from a career 60% FT% and 71.3% in his final season to an 80.1% FT shooter in the NBA is a pretty darn impressive leap.

Brandon Ingram shot 32.7% from the 3 point line and 66% from the free throw line with the Lakers. He's shot 37.4% and 85.8% with the Pels

Idk how much Vinson is or isn't helping but there's definitely guys shooting the ball better once they get to New Orleans.

No need to talk about him right now. Let’s give it a few games.
There’s really nothing to do about it
anytime real soon.
