I really hope the Knicks get #1 or #2. I mean I'm dreaming that we get #1 and the Knicks get #2 like the rest of yall. But I'm not holding my breath there

Id do it if its the one or two pick. We as a small market need to take chances on guys who can be a superstar. I like tatum and brown alot but if we can get a zion, Ja, or maybe even barrett on a rookie scale deal then you gotta do it. Worry about filling in the roster with system and high end role players after as they are much more attainable for us as a small market. We can sign guys who could be featured as a second or third option possibly but we will Never sign a superstar. So our only chance to get one to go after one of those guys, otherwise your option is at best two Fringe All Star players that will make your team good enough to contend for the postseason but not good enough to ever win anything which will also put us in a position to never get a chance at adding the superstar wed still need in the draft.

I would love to see the Knicks GM do this. So the Knicks win the first pick for the first time in over 30 years. They are in line to pick the best player to come out in a decade and one of the biggest college stars of all time. NYC is going to go crazy and Zionmania erupts. But then he trades it (and guts the roster) for Davis. He will be run out of town with the quickness..
