I totally agree. Missi needs work on the defensive end. Teams would get whatever they wanted with him and queen/zion on the court.

Maybe in a couple of years as he continues to develop, but not this year. He has shown in the G-League he can rebound well, he can shoot the ball (38% on 3’s but only 3 a game), but that’s the G-League. He will take 1 or 2 more years before he could be even a rotation level guy in the NBA IMO

All in all - we're still missing a true starting caliber center.
Missi hasn't proven to take the next step.
Queen, zion, and matkovic are not even remotely close to being good enough defensively.
Now the true question is how do you get someone without giving up a 1st.

Getting a center is 2 wins. You get a better starter and now have an advantage with Missi/ Queen/ Karlo vs other bench players.

If we are trying to compete then you want the C worth a 1st. That's your best chance against the elite centers. If they don't spend a 1st on a C then it needs to be on Herro/ Brown.
Bucks have Herro/ Turner and looking to move them. Bucks would also be useful to spread salary in a Brown trade. If we do anything I'd be suprised if they aren't involved.

Best case is a Kelly Olynyk type role player. Not at all someone who will ever be “that guy.”
