In order for a team of young and promising players to reach their full potential and grow individually, you need veterans on your roster. Not only do you need veterans, but you veterans that have played at a high level and have had success in the league. If not, you become Sacremento and Chicago. Good Vets with success can be the leaders that players listen to and follow. Favors and JJ fit that mode.

Honestly, it was a wide open Harrison Barnes bricking jumpers. Look at his stats the last 3 games like 5-32. That and LeBron dominating. I dont think it was Griffs email. He probably wrote positive emails the next couple years when they were getting stomped but GS had KD instead of Barnes this time.

I'm assuming he believed he actually had the talent and skill to back it up which is why he said those things. The alternative is that he knew they lacked those things and said it anyway.
Just play Presti going forward and ackowledge the team is rebuilding and won't be very good. There is nothing wrong with that position unless ticket sales are a concern but Zion will sell regardless.
Season is disappointing but it's very early in his tenure. I agree with you that ive agreed with a lot of what he's done, especially the trainer. Its just the idealistic talk isn't necessary.
