the melt on draft night when they do trade/sell both 2nds will be amusing, as I do not believe that a pick in the 40s plus one in the 50s is getting you in the 30s. We will see

Only move I’d be willing to make is trying to trade Graham for KCP. He’s on an expiring. Good 3 and D wing we could use so the new rookie has time to develop. Then let the rookie get those mins the following year. Roll with Alvarado and Lewis as the backup pgs.

Suddenly my original idea for trading for KCP doesn’t seem so crazy, does it? He’s also only partially guaranteed for 2022/2023

So why would the Wizards give him up for DG?
DG and some 2nds? I doubt it

You are right, we will have to wait till the trade deadline to make a deal like that. Hopefully we can raise Grahams value up if Zions healthy and he makes his open 3’s. Wiz woukd have to be out of contention and unloading expiring contracts. They not getting a first for KCP on an expiring deal.

Or a team has an injury and needs a backup pg.

wiz did good work last year getting KCP, kuzma, porzingas etc for rustle and dinwiddie. They have a chance to re sign Beal and they have decent lottery position

they aren’t going to punt on KCP without a damn good reason

So I saw on Bleacher Report that Oladipo could be a trade option for cheap. I know hes always hurt but hes played pretty good in the playoffs being hes healthy. What are yalls thoughts on Oladipo if you can get him for cheap.

Yall can go to the Pelicans on BR and see the article

I just don't see why anyone would take on Graham for 3 years and 30 million when he looks like he doesn't belong in the NBA.

You need to wait for the deadline. The trade dynamics then have completely changed to where it's all buyers and no sellers thanks to the Playin.

Graham's biggest problem is he still takes too many pull up 3s. He shot 39.8% on Catch and Shoot 3s. Playing with Zion should change his shot profile and hopefully make him tradeable.

Wonder if MIL would be entertaining offers for Lopez. He has one year left on his deal after this year at 14. He's old but he provides some rim protection while shooting almost 40% from 3.

He’s 34 and is in the twilight of his career. He’s going to retire a Buck.
