NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Pelicans were voted the third-worst organization in the NBA, according to The Athletic’s annual anonymous player poll.

113 votes were cast, and the Pelicans received 11.5 percent of the vote. The only two teams' players felt were worse were the Washington Wizards and the Charlotte Hornets. All three finished in the bottom four of the NBA standings this season

This is based off of a paywalled NYT article. Curious if it the poll was done before or after Dumars.

It was done in March to mid-April so before Dumars.

113 answered the question and 11.5% said the Pels. That’s less than 13 players. The NBA has around 450 total players.

Small sample size and correlation between teams having bad years. The injury bug bit the Pels hard. Where did they rank last year when they won 50?

Also, Zion got 2.2% of the 90 votes for who is the league's most overrated player. Trey Murphy got 2.2% of 136 votes for who is the leagues most underrated player.

Zion Williamson also got 1.4% of 141 votes for Which player in the league would you least like to fight

Zion would be easy to take in a fight. Just run in a few circles and throw Doritos on the ground. He’ll get tired and distracted and then you take him

Probably before but it doesn’t matter.

The problems with the organization haven’t changed any by hiring Dumars though the hope of fixing them has probably gone down a bit.

We are at the point where we can go “At least we aren’t the Wizards or Hornets (anymore).”

No one likes to fight a fat boy capable of hitting.

On top of that, no telling what is in his bloodstream given all the instathots he is barebacking.
