So much to clean up but they fought…and won!

Zion got frustrated in the second half and HAS to start hitting free throws but had 2 huge baskets down the stretch, BI started over dribbling and shrinking possessions but made the right plays down the stretch. Herb and Dyson fought like hell. JV had his best game of the season and had fantastic stretches. Naji fumbled the ball out of bounds twice but hit 3 huge 3’s. All in all, against the defending champs, I’ll take it every day.

Val fought hard tonight and Jokic still probably had the best statistical game of any player so far this season. Probably more of a testament of how damn good Jokic is

Great win. BI and Zion showing that they can coexist. Herb and Dyson absolute terrors on defense. Jonas played great considering the assignment.

On a different note, Jokic is the enemy but damn he is a supremely skilled basketball player and fun to watch.

Great win! I definitely yelled in some nuggets fans faces who were sitting behind us when we were up 111-102.

Guys we did all this without CJ, Trey and Jose. And our boy Jose coming back tomorrow! Great win! Team learned to close out against the champs!

I just looked up a video of Zion in preseason and it’s very clear he lost 10+ pounds since then. Cool that he lost the weight but really frustrating that he had that on to begin the season

Think that’s up there we the best wins we’ve ever gotten with Z and BI both playing

This was a very well played game from both teams. Like a playoff game in terms of the intensity.
Not saying Pels Talk bros but in general there's a bunch of haters who won't admit it but the in season tournament has been a huge success so far.

The games across the league are noticeably more intense, dudes not being rested, playing big minutes in some instances.

Great to see coaches and players putting that extra emphasis on these games.

Whoa. I was talking down the stretch. Fouling Joker and his defense late. He was solid the first half.
Sorry Barkus.
I see what you mean

I absolutely love this tourney. And it's working here. the lower bowl was packed and as intense as the play-in games tonight. not quite the sun's series, but definitely noticeably louder and more intense than a normal Friday night. especially the second half and late in the game. felt like everyone was on the edges of their seats the whole 4th. I haven't been going to games long, but that was one of if not the best regular season game experience of the dozens I've been to the last few years, even if it wasn't completely packed.

also the defending champs just went out with a game plan to crowd a guy in his 12th career game because he's that much of a threat from deep. with Trey back, pick your poison with him and hawk. the last two games have been great, but those 2 can really open up the inside even more.

It’s been great… the lower bowl has been completely full, atmosphere loud, court looks amazing, uniforms and merch is on point. What more could anyone want!

I love it for us, for sure.

But some of the uniforms and courts are just nasty and ugly. I'm absolutely no bought in to any extra excitement from the idea of the tournament, but I also don't have any problem with it. To me, it's a just somewhat interesting wrinkle when the most of the sports world is still focused on football.
