Yes.
AD's salary wouldn't kick in until 2020-2021.
As of now, we only have a PO for AD ($28m) and Jrue's salary ($26m) on the books that season.

Yea that knicks trade is still attractive with either Barrett or Ja to team with Zion. Plus they will have to give up the house now since it's not Zion. Couldn't have worked out any better for us.
Maybe we can send some of the assets from Knicks to assure we get Ja.

Congrats on the first pick. Getting Zion will be huge for the entire city, not just the franchise. The Pelicans will be must see TV for basketball fans everywhere
