Extend Asik and it doesn't matter where the pick falls. He's almost definitely more valuable than whatever we'd get in the late teens of the draft.

Wonder if there would be the same stipulations in the event that we get a pick for tomorrow's draft (i.e use the $1.5m the Rockets sent us + $1.5m of our own money and buying a pick in the late 20s).

Honestly, I have a feeling we haven't seen the end of the Pelicans' moves yet. More to come, imo.

They will still have this 2015 1st round pick tomorrow night. Deal won't be finalized till July 10th
