This would be a great move. Would love to get him. He can definitely help us.

Also our roster is full. A player on the roster would need to go.

They won't do it, but it needs to be Steimsma's garbage arse

He's literally not good at a single thing on a basketball court

Hill plays fewer minutes at C, but he is far more productive there, according to 82games

He's better than any center we have

He doesn't shoot long jumpers so he's not D'Antoni's type of big man

I thought with Ryan Anderson's situation, the Pels can add someone? I saw it in an earlier thread.

Ramona Shelburne: Sense is Brooklyn & New Orleans are leaders for Jordan Hill. Charlotte, ATL among others who've expressed interest.

Saw a report yesterday where Brooklyn was "basically offering nothing"... so maybe we only have to beat "nothing"

Yeah apparently Brooklyn was just offering to take Hill from them. I'd guess we could offer a protected 2nd round pick.

The Lakers aren't really in a position to expect much for him right now. The whole league knows he's being shopped to save them from the tax. The bottom line is, they don't want to take salary in return if they don't have to. That's where we can offer more. We could trade the DPE for him and they'd shed his full salary.

That said, I'm really not sure how much sense Hill makes for the Pelicans. It's only for the remainder of the season and our big rotation has gotten better with Ajinca and Babbitt.

They would have a sign-and-trade route available to them in the offseason.

As we all have done from time to time. That can't be the issue.
