Well, too bad. You guys are gonna have to wait a bit on that and some other things. So, learn to like it

But why? It's not like there's some big important NBA thing going on right now that would involve people doing the thing we want the Pels to be doing in future years.

I mean a schedule is kind of irrelevant right?

We aren’t asking for a press release. We’re asking you. The guy with apparent information and not beholden to a schedule.

Look, I am going to give you guys hints about stuff and allow the team to announce it officially when they can legally do it. If that isn't good enough, then I can say nothing. But don't bother me to keep giving you more or to spell out everything after I have given a pretty simple clue. Fair?

I mean that’s fair. But I don’t think saying “hey what’s up with this?” Is bothering you.

More like a friendly poking.

It’s either we get U’Ren to run our analytics department or that we are building that type of department in general. Either way it’s good news

So at the very least this means Redden won’t be promoted. I would think that if we want Redden to come to New Orleans, this has to to be a positive development

Also no Redden in that group. Another good sign if you’re all in on Redden

Stop playing man, you know exactly why he does that. But you fall for it every time.

Here is the situation I am in - Not that you guys seem to care, but maybe someone who understands the world isn't black and white will read and understand:

I get info. I am told as he gets the job, that Griffin's first call will be to Redden. I am told he will go hard after U'Ren. I have heard others. But, Redden has agency, he has a choice. The Clippers have something to say in the matter. Numerous other opportunities are possible. Same goes for U'Ren and others.

So, do I tell you guys and risk idiots like Shell bashing me and calling me a fake when one of these guys chooses someone else and then Shell and Upperdecker and all those idiots come on and say, "See, I told you guys he was full of it. He said we were getting Redden and Redden is staying in LA!"

Or do I just drop hints and maybe make burner Twitter accounts to let my friends and other writers know so they can put that info out there? Or, do I say nothing?

I always come back to the fact that, if I didn't have info, but was really passionate like some of you guys, I would like to know. So, I try to find ways to get you guys some info. But then, some idiots try to make their name by trying to drag me. And others of you just keep wanting more, more, more. And you want me to give it to you with certainty - as if there is any certainty in the future. Griffin himself has no idea what AD is gonna say. What the trade will be. If U'Ren will accept, etc. Yet, I am supposed to be certain?

So, we all have our own POV in the world. This is mine. This is my dilemma, and I haven't solved it yet. I am working on the elite board and maybe that will give me a place, maybe it won't. But the last 5 years or so haven't been fun, because of the things above I have laid out. But I keep coming back because at the core I feel lucky to have some of the info I do and I know some of you are good people who deserve to hear it.

How is me sharing my perspective "drama"?

I am simply telling many people how and why I share the info the way I do because it is clear that many have their own misinformed opinions.

Again, that post clearly wasn't for you or Fun Bunch based on your responses, but I have no doubt that other people who can view things from multiple perspectives will understand. And I will just continue to post for them and become much better at ignoring others. Because they won't be a part of the discussions I am in a few months from now anyway.

Calling it a dilemma is giving power to those that don't deserve it. Just post good info and the rest will sort itself out. The mob determines who the winners and losers are. Just look at how many people defend you now compared to a year ago when every post you made was met by the mob telling you to GTFO.

That's your problem here. Quit explaining yourself.

You don't owe anyone anything, just ignore people that annoy you. This is a message board.

Have basketball conversations. Post information or hints when you have them. Don't respond to questions or people you don't like. Its really easy.

Agreed, that is slightly better. Though that takes threads way off course and is an issue as well.

I just want to talk basketball and the advice from you guys is to ignore these people, but when a thread starts with a basketball topic and page 2 is idiots coming at me, not the topic and page 3 is people defending me, and page 4 is a totally different topic as a result, is ignoring really the best idea for conversation?

Or MAYBE I still have hope the idiots could be educated and have their perspective changed, so as I post moving forward, there is never a comment about me good or bad and we can just talk basketball. Maybe I am naive, but that is what I was going for here.
