No it’s not ,you do have to be a threat to shoot to space the floor

100% agree with you. Rebounding has been a huge thorn in the sides of the Pels!!!

well, he ain't exactly done anything to warrant not being nailed to the bench...

he hasn't added muscle or strength, and if he still hasn't learned to play defense, what exactly does he give you other than streaky as frick 3pt shooting?

Good, we needed rebounding and rim protection. Another shooter would be nice, but really we just need to stay healthy now…which seems impossible, but frick it, what can we do?

Eh. How many centers take the volume of threes needed to really space the floor? Almost none. Even guys like Myles Turner and Chet average one or two makes a game.

Your volume three point shooters are what matter. We need our guards + wings to be real threats from behind the arc. In '23-24 Herb shot 40%+ from the corner and obviously Trey is going to get his 3s up. Poole actually was a pretty good volume 3-point shooter last year, getting up 9 attempts a night at about 38%. Need those guys to stay at that rate, plus have bench guys like, Bey, Hawk and Peavey to get theirs up as well. I actually thought Reeves looked good when he got time last year. He shot over 40% from three as well, on limited minutes.

OKC, Indy, Houston Denver etc...showed you can be a successful playoff team without elite three point shooting/volume across the roster. If Zion comes through next year, we'll be in the playoff mix. If he doesn't, we probably won't. The rest is window dressing.

Looney was not good this year. I think he’s past his prime. This reminds me of the Derrick Favors signing. Maybe he bounces back but idk
spot on. I really don’t see why fans are getting hyped about a 29 year old 6’9” player that averaged 4 points and 6 rebounds. Also has had surgeries on both hips

Good job man...

The shitty part is like Metallica said Nothing Else Matters, if Zion is the Zion we all know too well...sitting...we suck

If Zion plays 75 games, we have a shot at play-in spot...we have hope...

But I have my doubts about Zion stepping up.

5 - Looney/Missi
4 - Queen
3 - Zion
2 - Herb/Trey
1- Fears/Dejountae/Jose

That’s a championship caliber 9 man rotation.

That’s not even going to be our rotation

Dude, you know how that meme turned out? Laughing Charlie Murphy and his crew got their asses handed to them on the court by Prince and The Revolution! They weren't laughing then...

I'll take 65 games from Zion. It will probably end in heartache, but he did look great last season (forget the end of the season. he could have played).

If I was ranking David Griffin's fails, near the top was not setting out to build a team that could win without Z or at least keep it around .500. You knew his injury risk was high. Not hedging that risk better was a major problem. Whatever OG Joe turns out to be, at least I think he's trying to solve that problem...

With or without Zion, we are a play in team. If Zion has an elite season, we can be a top 6 seed.

If injuries are figured in for us, then do it for other teams too. Guys like Curry, James, Durant are in their late 30s. You don't think they'll have injuries? That goes for tons of other teams too. At the deadline there will be 4-5 West teams that shut it down, sell off, and tank. We aren't going to be one of them..

I really don’t know what Dumars is doing.

Well I do, he’s running a team like it’s 2002.

No shooting.
