Lebron and AD each scored more than our “stars” combined. lol. If you think it’s a fluke just wait till Tuesday. Lebron might double Zion and BI’s points by himself

No, we're still likely to win the game against the Kings/Warriors, especially if it's the Kings.

Dont underestimate the magnitude of a loss like this has on the mentality on a soft team like this.

Adding to the fact we likely have to beat Curry/Lebron in these games?

Only hope is Sac wins against GS

I guess. You could have said this several times this season but this team has shown they can bounce back. Im telling you watch that AD back injury- it could be huge.

That’s no excuse for this performance. They are still professionals.

Oh, I agree 100%. I was just saying, I knew this performance was coming once I read the news. It shouldn't matter as a professional basketball player.

We beat Fox, sabonis and curry- are those guys not stars because Zion beat them without BI. Your logic is dumb.

I keep seeing people saying how well the team was playing. That was on the road this team played today the same way the played at home most of the season like hot garbage. This looked exactly like the team that went 1-5 on a critical home stand.

Can we revisit the Lakers getting those FTs to start the 2nd? What on earth was that shite. Never in my life have I ever seen anything like that, the refs just have the power to undo a mistake in a different quarter 15 minutes after the fact?

Its dumb but it shouldn’t let this team fall behind by 32.

Wash

Rinse

Repeat

quote:

CJ+Zion+Ingram lineups finished -28 in 12 minutes

All other lineups were +12 in 36 minutes.

CJ+Zion lineups minus BI were +13
BI+CJ lineups minus Zion were +4
no lineups with BI+Zion minus CJ were played

The Pelicans don't have to continue to do this. It's an idiotic choice.

I saw a team that quit today. I think they’re done-zo.

Thank you shel.

The evidence is beating our heads in that BI and Zion don’t fit. Griff has to break them up this offseason

1 player in the rotations had a positive plus/minus. No surprise, it's Jose.

All he does... Win his minutes

Zion and BI are OK together. It's the Zion+BI+CJ combo that doesn't work. Either CJ or BI has to get traded this summer for a center.

And it's tempting to say that CJ should be the one to go, since he's so much older, and BI has so many more good years left in him.

But I really do think that sending BI out is the better play. BI works best in an iso, half-court game, which is not what we want to do.

BI and Z didn't work in the 20/21 season either. At some point, we have to stop denying it.

Yet Willie let this game get away before Jose even came into the game in third quarter. Yet we started Nance out of the third- please make it make sense???!!

You consider 23 minutes for a player who averages mid 30’s a game “big minutes”?

Sure because I’ll clarify because you just want to pinpoint certain things.

I should have stated playing Nance 30 plus minutes was dumb and there might have been a better way to implement BI coming back from injury than just starting him in a lineup thats been a negative the whole season.

They

don't

fit
quote:

Team had a 33.3 3pt attempt rate when both Zion and BI were on the court this game.

Just Z, no BI: 41.9
Just BI, no Z: 52.9

For the season:

Just Z: 39.52
Just BI: 38%
Both: 32.46%

30th ranked Denver is 35.1

It just doesn't work
