Let's recognize the comeback more than the loss. Used alot of energy to comeback. Also, Giddy hitting threes like that was the difference. Proud of this team. Bodes well for the rest of the homestand. Maybe Dyson will be back by the weekend.
We fought hard and competed. That's what WE ALL WANT. Everybody needs to commend this team for not quitting.

I'm not putting the loss on him. He was the only reason we were in that game. But he has to be better in the closing minutes if he wants to be a star player.

Zion gave the team open looks. OKC sold out on him to end the game. No one else stepped up.

really think a big reason for our late game struggles is Zion's legs being dead in the closing minutes. It's a big factor in our offense that disappears because he's not going at full speed
Not saying you're wrong but if we want to win late, play through Zion.

If Zion is too tired to run the offense through him late and we still want to win, then Zion needs to sit. He provides nothing on offense standing at the 3pt line with no threat to do anything.

CJ is strictly a shooting guard. He doesn’t have a point guard mentality. Hes goinh to always find a way to shoot over passing it

I get it but he has no situational basketball awareness, including Willie. With Jeff and Mutt no wonder we can't win in clutch situations.

I don't get why we don't get him the fricking ball more at the point and let him go to work. frick Dort. Have your best screener set a pick at the 3pt line and fade and let Z figure it out

You don't understand the bitching for the worst clutch team outside of Washington and Detroit to lose a game when up 5 late then giving up a 12-0 run to finish?

The finish was really bad, especially with the lack of Zion touches. They need to do better with giving him touches in crunch time. But OKC is a better team than we are, especially without BI. If we were fully healthy and they were missing Chet, should they be pissed about losing a close game against us?

CJ cost us this game up by 3 with a little over a minute left and he shoots a three and misses badly. That was the opportunity to get it to Z and possiblby go to the line. Dude is supposed to be a leader but is dumb. No wonder Portland couldn't win in the clutch.
You think the wide open 3 was a bad decision?

SGA was dogshit in that 4th qtr outside of 1 clutch 3. Sometimes your role players have to rise up. fricking Dort made the game winning shot for them

Not the main job of the star player with under a minute to go and trailing by a possession.

This isn't the "oh we competed and almost won it/we showed fight good job" time of year.

Say what yall want about Willie's rotations but he really lost drawing up nothing the last few minutes. Thunder ran an offense and the Pels did not.
It's everything goes through their best player vs our best player stands at the 3pt as a non threat

I don’t know msn we had 5 point lead late in fourth at home and Zion hardly touched the ball. Thsts extremely concerning this late in the season.

That's pretty much my thoughts, and I'm not a forever posi-Pel. We didn't have BI (obviously) or Jose late. I don't see the point in being angry about every single loss.

If for whatever reason the coach is calling plays that have the player standing in the corner doing nothing, the player needs to override that shite and go grab the ball.
No doubt

That's why I'm not entirely convinced about Zion living for these moments like he constantly says.

We have competent players on the court with him outside of Larry who has seemed to consistently miss easy shots at the rim and easy rebounds lately. The other guys are being left to east buckets.
