THE PELS ARE THE frickING 4 SEED AND WOULD HOST A PLAYOFF SERIES IF THE SEASON ENDED TODAY. BUT THAT ISNT THE frickING CASE, AND THE REAL BATTLE FOR PLAYOFF SEEDING HAS BEGUN WITH THE frickING "PELS INVITATIONAL" STARTING TONIGHT WHEN WE GET TO PLAY SHOOTY HOOPS WITH ALL THE GREAT TEAMS IN THE LEAGUE IN OUR frickING HOUSE.
OUR HOUSE. WE HAVENT DEFENDED IT WELL AT ALL. TOO MANY frickING a-hole TEAMS HAVE COME IN HERE AND EATEN DUBS, BUT THEY DIDNT PLAY THIS frickING ZION. THIS ZION IS AN UNLOCKED ZION THAT HAS TAKEN OVER (THAT 4 POINT GAME DOESNT COUNT IT NEVER HAPPENED SHUT UP).
WE PLAY THE frickING THUNDER TONIGHT, A BUNCH OF frickING DOUCHEBAG NBA PLAYERS WITH BOYBAND SUPERSTARS CHET AND SHAI. THEY HAVE ACHIEVED WHAT WE HAVE WANTED TO ACHIEVE THIS SEASON, AND THOUGH WE ARE ONLY 5 GAMES DIFFERENT FROM THEM, THE CHASM HAS FELT WIDER AT TIMES.

Let's get a little pre-game real talk...is OKC really better than the Pels?
OKC is 5.5 games better than the Pels in the standings.
Based on minutes played, OKC's top 7 players have played an average of 67.9 out of 70 games, or 96.9% of their games.
Based on minutes played, NOP's top 7 players have played an average of 58.9 of 71 games, or 82.9% of their games.
Obviously we're not healthy, missing our 2nd best player and another rotation player, but if we're fully healthy, which is always a big if, come playoff time, Is OKC really better than us?

We need to stick to the gameplan in the first game we played them when Zion played. Attack the paint with JV and Zion. Its how lakers and bucks kill them. If we do this we should be ok. They literally don’t have bigs to handle Zion or JV.

Honestly if we were better in the clutch, we’d probably be ahead of them in the standings.
I think we are probably pretty evenly matched, but we have a quasi answer for Shai in Herb and they probably have no answer for a healthy, engaged Zion.

I'd probably slow-play Herb in the 1st half...try and save his fouls for 2nd half...and Zion needs to be aware of where Jaylin Williams is at all times...the guy is a charge-drawing machine.
