I told y’all he was fat and out of shape during the preseason, but he was still scoring and looking great on offense. His offense has been sub par so far to start the season.

Fatass gets sick for 4 days and gets set back like 4 weeks.

Remember, this guy said it would take about 20 games for him to get into shape. But let’s keep ignoring all the obvious signs that he’s yet again not in shape to start the season.

This is my take too. I'm really worried that we are going to underachieve until he gets back. The ball movement was just pathetic tonight.

Bucks lost to the Nets. Maybe they're just not that good anymore.

This is the crazy thing to me. The NBA is all about matchups. Sometimes random guys are just going to go off. But we are supposed to have 2 max or near max guys. I just watched Jerami Grant outplay both of them two games in a row. It wasn't even close in either game. His numbers dwarf theirs. That just shouldn't happen. Yet here we are..

Because it basically is. With no Murray and with low energy Zion, we have no efficient way to generate offense.

Never cease to amaze me how we can't play our stars together.

My observation is "no team ball". Someone needs to get a clue and run some sort of offense. Giving the ball to one guy and let him go for 4th and 1 (bully ball) is not going to cut it. Also, letting the other guy dribble and dribble and dribble and dribble until the clock has expired isn't going to get it either.

SMH this organization doesn't have a winning culture, BI would be lucky to get traded.

ingram had a betting line of 2.5 three pointers made or 0.5 three pointers made....i took the 0.5 line...zion had a betting line of 7.5 rebounds or 4,5 rebounds...i took the 4.5 line.....hawkins had a over 11 points scored line...i took that.....jose had a 0.5 in steals line...i took that...

hawkins and jose delievered .. i cant believe that i lost because of ingram not making one 3 pointer and zion not getting 5 rebounds ....its times like this that make me think that these dudes be playing the under for their friends or family lol....

That's all that is happening, and it's all that happened last year for the most part.
Trey had a clip in the preseason talking about how the offense isn't like that anymore and it's more options so they aren't just running one option and then hero ball. So it's obvious the coaches talk about not running just that one set and then just handing the ball to BI or Zion or CJ with 8 seconds left and saying, bail us out.
You can say not having Murray is the reason for this the last two games, but i didnt' see anythign different in the preseason with him. He just adds a guy that can get his own shot off to the team, so that it's not just BI and Zion doing it all the time.

The lack of effort and general laziness and don't give a shite attitude you get from both Zion and BI far too often plays a huge part in this. If you don't give the necessary effort to make the first offensive set work, then it won't work, then you just wasted 10-15 seconds of the shot clock doing nothing, and now someone has to make a play, and that make a play is a one on one where someone has to create some offense.

Trade one of BI or Zion by January. I don't care which one. I'm tired of both of them, and it seems obvious they don't like playing with each other.

There just seems to be something off about the team. Herb looks rather terrible to start the season, and it's not from an effort standpoint. He just looks like he doesn't belong out there and goes absent for several plays. and no i don't want to trade Herb.
Yesteday Missi gets fouled and falls down and no one on the court went to help him up. He literally sat there with his hands out waiting for someone to pick him up. That kind of crap should never happen, and to me is a clear sign that the team as a whole isn't happy together.
Hawkins and Missi are the only ones that seem to want to be out there and are playing consistently good.

I dont think it's far fetched to say that the players that have seen Zion for the last 6 years consistently be out of shape and not put in the work like the rest of them don't really respect him as their leader.

Something has to change. and i really don't want Griff being the one to make the change, but i know that isnt' changing anytime soon b/c Benson is a terrible owner that has no idea what she's doing.
Trade BI and bring in someone who will kick Zion's arse. Jimmy Butler is old as shite and declining, but i'd take him for 2 years just so he can bitch at Zion about being fat and lazy.
What woudl be great is if the Bucks get off to a bad start, which they already have, and look to make a move to get younger. I'd trade Zion for Giannis and whatever else it takes.

It's goign to be Christmas before we get to see Murray/CJ/BI/Trey/Zion/Herb play together, and the odds of one of our two sissy leaders not getting hurt by then is slim to none.

I mean, his energy level was significantly higher in the preseason than it was the last two games. I think it's obvious that it's related to whatever illness he came down with.

But hey, don't let the obvious reason get in the way of your victory lap.

It’s the reason I had no optimism about this season whatsoever. Willie is Willie, and BI and Zion are who they are. Nothing will change until either Someone else takes over or you trade BI. Until then I’ll watch every game like I always have but I will not be disappointed or get any hopes up. I love Murray’s game and what he brings to this team, but it still won’t be enough.

significantly?
He never got down in a defensive stance.
He never ran the floor, always lagging behind both on offense or defense. He chooses, and chooses rarely, when he wants to give maximum effort.
He chose to lay it up against Jalen Suggs on a fast break instead of just going in and dunking it.

He was still dominant offensively in the preseason, but I thought it was obvious he still wasnt' in shape.

I almost joked that Willie would use the Murray injury to dust off the ole Point BI/CJ playbook on his bedside table. I did not think it’d be what we actually do after seeing how Z finished the year.

But here we are again…

Some folks refuse to concede they were wrong even when it's painfully obvious.

It is what it is.

Revisiting the "how many recent #1 picks would you take over Zion" question... Banchero just dropped 50.
