Ok, top 6

Point is they could’ve gotten themselves a top pick along with 8-10 additional 1st rounders from selling everything.

Bridges, Claxton, DFS going out could’ve gotten them a hell of a haul

The Nets are not falling off a cliff. They are a top 5 seed and should stay out of the playin. They have 5 of the best defenders in the league (Simmons, Bridges, O'Neale, DFS and Claxton). Plus the deepest bench in the league. I think they upset someone and make a run..

I think they are trying to be decent and probably will be decent tbh

They are still a free agent destination due to market size, connection to Jay Z as well.

I don’t blame them for keeping Bridges and trying. If they can get rid of Ben Simmons contract or somehow rehabilitate his mind, they might actually be good sooner than anticipated.

nets turned down memphis .
offered 3 memphis #1s and a gsw #1 and a player.
admittedly the Memphis picks are probably in the 20s.
nets want him too.

its interesting to me how #1s got devalued in the gobert deal.

If Zion was healthy, then maybe we'd have gone all-in at the deadline and in this buyout market

Pretty much in the dark on how things work (trade-wise)...but if I was pulling the strings and there was ANY way possible...I woulda forced my way right into the middle of that Nets/Suns deal...and SOMEHOW, come out with my new favorite player on the rise...Mikal Bridges (with Claxton thrown in).

Are you ever going to shut the fucck up about this?

Everyone on here likes and wanted bridges and claxton.

Brooklyn wanted to keep bridges. He was the centerpiece of the trade.

accidentally dv.
you nailed it.
theres no sense in paying premium prices at deadline as if one guy will set us for the championship run.

We're 8th in rebounding.

We needed shooting. Biggest concern going forward by far

Shooting definitely a huge concern; consistently better on-ball defense is absolutely needed we take too many quarters/games off.

And never will as long as Zion and Ingram are our main pieces

I could be wrong but I thought history shows buyout players rarely contribute to rings
