Glad you’re not the manager. Holy fk that would be bad for us. Vucevic does not help our time line. Huerter is trash. Portland out of the lottery barely helps us.

It was probably his attempt at being realistic without exactly knowing how Chicago values Z. Don't hate him for Zion tanking his own value.

There’s no magic bullet to fix this team. Griff put in motion years ago with the stupid trades he did and Dumars finished it with the trade with no protections.

We going to sell off our good players to tank on a season when we don’t have our pick.

We have to hope to trade Zion for a player that is good but on a bloated contract that isn’t worth it. Think of players like Towns, Trae, Patrick Williams, maybe Jaylen Brown.

Cut the rotten SOB Shame on Griffin and Benson for tolerating this a-hole this long. He is an absolute cancer; cut it out. I actually hope this guy suffers a career ending injury and goes broke. He is a disgrace to the team and to the NBA.

Trade him for literally anything or cut him. He MUST get off this roster. Pels will remain ABSOLUTE arse as long as he's here.

I will keep saying this, I want Zach Lavine. We can trade Zion and Poole, for Lavine, Monk and Saric right now. The Kings would do it. That trade makes us a massively better team immediately. It gives us two solid starting scorers in Lavine and Murphy that can play off one another. Monk gives us shooting and scoring off the bench. Plus we can pair him with Jones in January for a bigger piece. It honestly just makes too much sense..

Bumping this because of the smoke around the Bulls and Zion.
Saw this mock trade. Am I wrong for thinking we won’t get 3 1sts? I feel like I’d do this deal in a heartbeat.

Chicago Bulls Acquire:

Zion Williamson

New Orleans Pelicans Acquire:

Patrick Williams

Zach Collins

2026 1st round pick

2027 1st round pick

2028 first round pick

2028 second round pick

I want Coby White and Zach Collins.
Not interested in the very undersized Patrick Williams who has been a big negative when on the court vs off the court most of his career thus far. Saddiq Bey is a better player at a similar size, only 2 years older, and on a much more friendly contract.
I also do not want anyone from them that's not an expiring contract, as i assume Giddey and Buzelis aren't available.

I do not think they are giving up 3 firsts for Zion.

White, Collins, Carter (doesnt' matter what his first name is), 2 firsts for Zion and Looney is probably the most we'd get, and I'd be very happy with that. White is having a rough start to this year, but he's proven over the last 4 years with his 38% 3 point shooting on over 6 attempts that he can shoot. This 32% from 3 this year is the outlier. What sucks with him is he's a bad defender, despite having the tools and size to be better. I can accept that if he comes off the bench and scores though.

I do want their 2026 1st, and since they aren't morons it would be top 4 protected but that's fine.

I think so, I would also greenlight a Zion trade for a ham sandwich at this point.

Whenever it is we start dumping guys like Zion, bey, herb, Alvarado, Murphy I hope the absolute priority is draft picks. We need draft picks.

And then we need to use them to draft players.

Did the rule change where teams can now trade consecutive 1st round picks?

The Bulls have 2 firsts this year (Portland protected 1-14, next 3 years protected 1-14 if it doesn't convey) so they can trade one in 2026 and in 2027, but no they can't trade one in 2028 if they do those two.
