Tyreke Evans reportedly has been offered 4 yr, 44 Mil by the Pelicansquote:Seriously. Trey Burke + Martell Webster vs Jrue + Tyreke Despite my misgivings about Tyreke, obviously I would take option 2 100% of the time.
Honestly, it would depend on what the team did with the remaining $14 million a year they would have to spend if scenario 1 was chosen.

Will AD stay around 13 PPG, drop to 10-11 points a game, or improve to 15-16 PPG?

I'm thinking it goes up.

Our offense wasn't respected by opposing defenses last year, which is why Vasquez would hold onto the ball so long and why Anderson took so many long 3s.

If we've got a lineup of Jrue, Gordon, Evans, Anderson, and Davis on the floor, Davis gets more opportunities because of the attention being paid to the other four guys who can either shoot from outside or slash to the basket.

63% of sportsnation poll voted that this was a bad move by the Pelicans and 37% say it was a good idea. 80% of poll have probably never seen or know who Tyreke Evans even is

what do AD's scoring stats look like next year?

More speed = Better defense = More transition = Faster pace

I say his scoring increases even if they don't run any more plays for him than they did last year, which wasn't many.

Do you know how many random people vote on that. They may know his name but they have never seen him play for the vast majority of the voters.

You have to think having more guys that can score, more guys that can penetrate, and guys that can push the pace will have an impact on virtually all of his stats for the positive.

I vote in most of the polls on ESPN. Even sports I don't really care about.. like baseball. I have close to zero MLB knowledge, and I would imagine that a decent number of the voters don't know much about the NBA

For those that care, Mascona is doing a lot of the show today on the Pelicans/Evans
