So the rockets send out some of the worst players in the deal and get back some of the best? I'm sorry, I've just seen too much of these athletic guys that can't shoot to place much value on Brewer and KJ.

You're probably overrating Tucker. Classic case of a guy who is called underrated so much that he becomes overrated.

m, I was actually talking about Pelicans Report. But yep, you guys are doing it to.

Sorry, didn't see that I guess there are optimists everywhere.

To be fair, I was the one that brought up Bledsoe by saying this:

I wish there was a way we could swing Bledsoe but there's no chance of that.

So I even mentioned it was impossible. There are no Hornetguru's over here

The issue here is Dell. He is still trying to overcome past mistakes and that has us in a dangerous position. He won't just take his losses and let guys expire/start over. Instead , he is going to trade expiring contracts for longer ones because he doesn't want to lose guys for "nothing"

I can't say this enough - YOU NEVER LOSE SOMEBODY FOR NOTHING. You get back flexibility and opportunities for others. We should not be adding long term payroll right now or moving picks. It is time to admit several moves set us back and cut our losses, restart with some picks and keep flexibility. Make sure we are a contender before AD can opt out.

uhh trying to figure the thought process for this comment you lost me

He would get like 15-18 min a game guy for HOU.

Bev - Lawson
Harden - Thornton/Terry
Ariza - Tucker
Motiejunas - Anderson
D12 - Capela

I do agree, and I do think its getting pretty close to time to not let Dell make any moves.

It's simple inflation. Too much money chasing too few players.

Each team got an extra $11ish million in cap space over the past 2 years, it was at $58 in 13-14 and it's $70 this year. Next year each team will get almost $20 million extra and then another $20 million the following year. Batum is getting a max, Ryno's getting a max EVERYBODY is getting a max!

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if the owners don't encourage their GMs to go crazy, then in 2017 they have another thing to bargain with the players over. "No we're not technically losing money, but we'll lose momentum if we keep paying B players like A players. You don't want your share of BRI to go back down to $60 million a year do you?"

I think 4 for between 60 and 80 million is incredibly likely ifhe stays healthy. And even though 20 mil per year sounds crazy, it will be about 18% of the following years cap, which is equal to about 12 mil per year this year. I don't think it would be crazy to give this Ryno Anderson 12 mil.

He won't get max, but 15-20 mil per year is likely

I feel sorry for the fans of the team that even considers giving Ryan Anderson a max deal. Jeez..

Not sure he is worth a max anywhere but in the right situation I think he will be successful.

He needs to go to a place with a decent defensive center and defensive wing/guards that can mask his liabilities.

If not Phoenix, Washington seems like a good fit.

Yea don't get me wrong, I think Ryno is a good player. He's really impressed me with his offensive play this year, but he isn't close to a max player. You're right though, he would be a great fit in Washington getting open look from a true pg like Wall.

No way in hell he is getting the max. Pincus is smoking something if he believes that.

Sounds like a rival GM trying to undermine Anderson's trade value.

I think Phoenix is blowing a ton of smoke, trying to create some kind of trade value for Kieff because he was becoming untradeable.

I've thought about was before

They need a starting caliber PF to make a run and ryno makes so much sense. Wall would have a field day with him/Beal out there.

Would dudley and a 1st do it?
