Speaking of PelicansReport, have you guys seen the ''New Uni's-Where they at?'' thread? Some guy claims he talked to his season ticket rep and she said the uniforms were mainly blue and gold.
Not sure if true, but it certainly would not be surprising. The season ticket renewal booklet stated that blue was the primary color, gold the secondary color and red the tertiary color.

On what planet is Andre Igoudoula getting 16 million this offseason?

Hes a good fit because we have a major hole at the 3 and we need some talented vets on this team.

His player option this year is $15.9 million.

He won't necessarily make that much per season. He just wants to lock up a long-term deal that guarantees him more than $15.9m over the next few years, while he's still young enough to get such a deal.

I know what his option is, he already declined that. I'm saying I don't believe he is getting close to that per season with this contract.

Just telling you where he got the "due to make $16 million" number from.

Forgot that we'd targeted Iggy in 2010.

The Pelicans are interested in Iggy. Promise. Not saying they'll pay him and sign him, but his name is floating around in places other than message boards.

Hope they don't try to win any bidding war for him. He has been terribly overpaid in his last contract. Anything over say $9-$10 million/year over 2-3 years is robbery.

I don't disagree in a perfect world. But there is some interest.

I think Iggy's situation is similar to Gerald Wallace's last year. Wallace signed a 4yr 40 mil deal last year so something like 4yr 48 mil with the 4th being a team option could work.

Good idea. Let's pay him ~$10m/yr and have him split time with Gordon while we've got a D league caliber player at the 3 (a position Iguodala also plays).

i deleted the second sentence of my last post to see who would bite with a sarcastic ego/iggy time split. congrats .
the obvious move would be to deal ego.
