Kira is still so young with a damn good skill set and natural talents. Grew up in small town Alabama so you know he’s a down-to-earth God fearing person who holds himself to a standard work ethic. Trajan is such a damn good talent evaluator

I've seen him pop up on a few mocks this past week.

I'm hoping for Hampton or Bane.

Yeah I got that. I guess what I mean is we're basically hoping two current championship contenders go to shite in a couple of years

Pretty shocked no one has picked Hampton. One of the better teams in the league will get one of the most purely talented in the draft.

The value from the bucks and lakers are in future drafts because Griffin banked on the fact that LA will not be good once Lebron retires. Then banked on Giannis leaving the Bucks.

And in both cases, somewhat screwed the Bucks and Lakers by getting so much that neither team is in a position to trade much for additional help.

In the last 10 years, there’s literally only a handful of players who were selected in the 20s who became solid starters. A good 20 more are good bench players. Meaning 75% of them are worthless, and 75% of the freshman taken here are busts and do nothing.

The picks are assets for flexibility in the future. When our winning window accelerates we have assets to make a move for a player to put us over the top. It's the opposite of what we did when AD was here, more in line with what the Celtics have done.

The likelihood that we actually use the picks that we got from the Lakers and Bucks isn't very high. They are assets to be used in trades later on down the line.

We knew this pick was going to be in the 20's when we made the trade with Milwaukee, but we're betting on their picks down the road being better than that.
