That's big.
I could see them packaging that and 24 to move up a few spots for a player

This is what I’m hoping they do.

Lopez said on the radio the Jrue trade is not official yet and insinuated that more could be added to it.

I wonder who the Knicks are angling for. I saw a tweet a few days ago that Thibs has some level of involvement in the player decisions. I wonder if he wants Patrick Williams.

There's a connection between Rose and Toppin, so that could be it too.

Probably Halliburton. They need a PG.

Thibs might have a heart attack if he has to build a defense around a front court of Toppin and Julius Randle.

I can't think of a less Thibs player than Toppin.

Like Demps building a Monty team for Gentry and a Gentry team for Monty.

Jeremy Woo has some good tidbits on his updated mock draft. As for the Pels, he has us taking Kira at 13.

quote:

New Orleans made waves Monday night in sending Jrue Holiday to Milwaukee, reportedly picking up the 24th pick as part of that deal, in addition to obtaining most of the Bucks’ future draft capital, beginning in 2024. Rival teams seem to think the Pelicans would like a wing here, but in this situation, they’re all off the board, and Lewis would appear to be the best prospect available. The acquisitions of George Hill and Eric Bledsoe might muddle the backcourt situation a bit, but Lewis could use some seasoning and would be a nice developmental piece. His blazing speed, shooting and playmaking potential have earned him looks inside the Top 10, and his range ends with Orlando at No. 15.

Woo's Full Mock

He seems to think Patrick Williams will go #4. Toppin and Avdija are strongly linked to Cleveland at 5 so it makes since for NY to be targeting Toppin there as a few of you have suggested.

Several NBA teams with top 20 picks have concerns about the right foot of Vanderbilt sniper Aaron Nesmith. These teams are worried that Nesmith’s foot, which he injured in January, is slow to heal. Teams picking later in the 1st round are preparing in case Nesmith slides tonight.

"Slow to heal" doesn't sound good, but it could also be a team trying to make him fall.

I know it's Scoop B but he's saying we're interested in acquiring #4 from Chicago

24 is a long shot, but it's very easy for us to move up to 17-20, and i would without a doubt move up to grab Nesmith, same with Maxey.

feel almost like a guarantee in this draft there will be one guy who drops a lot further than we thought and could possibly scoop up if we want him at 24 or near 24

We aren’t drafting Nesmith for this season so I wouldn’t even blink at 13 if he’s a target.

Chicago has Satoransky and Coby White. I'm not sure they would see much value in Bledsoe or Hill.
