Rumor around LA people is that Boogie did them dirty. Supposedly Boogie’s agent convinced LA he was coming for ~$7M and they renounced Randle, but he got annoyed with their offer and went to Warriors.

Why don't y'all believe there was no offer made to him? Look at what just happened: He signed a one-year deal for 5.3mil -- it's clearly possible he had no real offer.
I think we've tried to out-think everything as a fanbase. All day today, it was "this must mean..."
We were all way off. And personally, given what transpired today, the Pelicans were correct to not give Cousins any type of significant money. Randle will help the team and this is a shite situation brought on by a fluke injury.
In the end, I'm glad the Pelicans didn't make some sort of forced move. Payton + Randle are on contracts that I don't think they'll under-perform.

Listening to Jake's podcast now. He's saying the Pels offered 1 yr/$12M. Boogie felt insulted and walked (correct me if I misheard that Jake).
