Pels talk: Pels need to try to make a name for them OUTSIDE of the Saints and stop making everything about the Saints only!!!
Also Pels talk: lets look more like the Saints and change to black and gold!

The NBA isn’t going to let them change names when they changed names less than a decade ago. Maybe some color changes and logo changes.

The Pelicans name I think has grown on most people.
I think keeping the name, but a fresh start with a new front office and rebranding to updated logos, uniforms, colors, merchandise could be a cool move for the franchise going forward. Combine those changes with the possible new young talent we could be acquiring in the next few month, and thag could generate a lot of interest and excitement in the pels!
I am a fan of the new “city edition” jerseys this year, both Mardi Gras and team color versions.
Our logos and jerseys already feel kind of stale to me. If you look around the league at other teams, I think most of them have updated their brand to some extent over the past 5 years. In my opinion, there isn’t much tradition to hang on to, so our franchise shouldn’t feel too timid about exploring new possibilities.

I'd love Voodoo. That makes so much sense! That's why it probably won't happen.

I like the pelicans name a lot. It’s much better than Voodoo and Krewe imo. Need to change the colors tho. Not a fan of the generic navy blue, red and white
