As I predicted a month ago. Kneeling with the opposing team by the BLM logo. Only thing I wasn’t cheesy enough to predict is cucks like Redick and Ashton Kutcher wearing “SAY THEIR NAMES” jerseys.

What time is tip-off? I'll be tuning in shortly after that.

As stated...will join immediately after tip and mute (or switch channels) during breaks. It’s not that hard.

To step away from the notion that citizens have to do/believe everything athletes and celebs do.

I believe the game will be televised on both TNT and FSSW. If so, I’d imagine the local feed will be much less political than the national “season opener.” Much more actual basketball and less outside talk.

This I respect. Some people bitch and complain because they don’t agree with whatever and others like you just decide to skip it and tune in to the part you want to see. Nothing wrong with that way of thinking.

My schtick is applauding the efforts of people who want to make a stand? Ehh, better than the alternative.

Yeah, I don't know, at this point in time I respect anyone who can disagree with something but manage to get over it and not act like it's the end of the world.

vs

People preaching tolerance but wanting people cancelled for some dumb thing they said 10 years ago.

or

People bitching about cancel culture but when something they don't like occurs they act outraged and say they're not gonna watch.

Most of the players believe that the ones who have turned a blind eye are the people who have ignored the problem of police brutality, especially as directed against African-Americans. Many of them have friends and relatives who have experienced significant racism in their lives.

That is why they will be taking a knee. You are certainly well within your rights to view the anthem as sacrosanct, but I would ask that you try to see the situation from their point of view before cursing them and us.

They can do what they want. I disagree with it, but the fact is most of the players likely have drastically different political views than I do. I'll respect their opinion.

But the theme of "Vote" is quite amusing. Nearly all recent incidents and subsequent protests come in jurisdictions in control of the party/beliefs they advocate for.

I call BS! You’re going to watch basketball and the Saints. You can try to shut yourself in but the world is changing. It’s becoming no longer cool to be hateful or divisive. It’s being reflected in sports, businesses, and media outlets.

Ironic that you don’t see the divisiveness of the left and these movements.
