Again, just because there are 82 games, doesn't mean it's ok to blow one. You just can't let a game like this get away.
Yeah, there were good things but Monty will never make me a believer. Good man, terrible coach. Same as Les.

I'm so fricking mad right now
I'm way more mad than after the Arkansas game, and that game was completely bullshite
Who cares if LSU or the stupid arse Saints lose

nobody is happy about a loss. it sucks. but i see reasons to be optimistic.
You know what I mean.. Silver linings, happy, whatever you want to call it. You can pull positives out of even the worst takes.
That's a game this team should have won, no excuses. You can beat up on the orlando's and Minnesota's of the world, but until you can win a game like that on the road, you are looking at 500 or worse team

What exactly is to be optimistic about? That our bench is filled with a bunch of players who shouldn't be in the NBA? That the one NBA level bench player we have is an incredible liability rebounding and on defense? That our highest paid player is too afraid to take charge when he needs to? That the guy not afraid to take charge is an elite charge-committing, possession-wasting, charge taker. That we have the stupidest coach in the league? That Portland can beat us without Batum and with Lillard having an off night? Because those things were all shown tonight.
AD is good. I already knew that.

we won't win 45-47 games blowing leads like this.
We wouldn't have blown a lead if asik played and/or monty made better decisions.

I accept the fact that this team is not quite ready for prime time. Especially without Asik.

Yep
Now, if it's back and forth all night, yea. But don't win 3 quarters and go full retard. Someone has to be held accountable.

Monte could be the black fricking Karl Childers the way he stands with his hands in his pockets and stares

And people are forgetting how amazing our defense was for most of the game. It was bad in the 4th, but that tends to happen when you miss almost every shot.
this.
I am no monty apologist, but we lost because we got cold, and we didn't bank all of those FTs. we cannot give points away at the line like that.

I know ATL
I'm just venting
I never drink on weeknights anymore but I'm about to make an exception

We probably should have gone back to Ajinca at some point in the 4th. At least he could get some rebounds
100% agree. This loss was more on Ryno than anyone. Tyreke played absolutely awfully and was a black hole on offense. But Jesus Chris even Davis can't afford to play 2 v 1 and defending. Especially with NO 3 on the team.

I was really thinking we were about to be 7-3

We got cold because we ignored our best player for the final 5 minutes.

You don't have to be a monty apologist

Reke's BBIQ is a problem, Holiday needs to understand he was an all-star by default. Rose, Wall etc were all out with injuries. They both attacked the basket and put up some wild shite with no chance. Selfish motherfrickers for the most part.

agreed. they should have. and this may be the game that keeps them out the playoffs down the line.
but the good news is they are beating and even blowing out the teams they should be. and they are remaining very competitive against the best in the west early in the season, which bodes well for the rest of the season once this team figures things out. just have to hope that Monty makes the necessary adjustments to make things work.
it's just been such a shitty sports weekend that i'm trying to hold on to as many positive notes as i can at this point

Meh, didn't reign in the guards, didn't feed AD.
These losses are all too common, someone has to take the fall.
