Skip definitely had our back this morning, arguing that we should pair Zion with AD and we’d be a contender.

It was refreshing that at least one prominent national figure wasn’t in complete melt mode over us snagging Zion.

Bill Simmons was also not totally opposed and didn't melt over it. He melted more over the Lakers moving up to 4, than the Pels landing 1 and Zion.

Honest question. Would we be a better team with Zion, Jrue, and Morant with some good traded players? Or would we be better with Zion, Ad, Jrue, and our current roster?

I think Skip defends New Orleans only because Shannon is so anti- New Orleans and of course they have to take opposite sides to have a debate show.(Although it is nice to hear someone take up for us whether it's legit or not).

Yeah, he made a pretty weak argument. Nothing about how it would take pressure off AD to be a 1-man-show. Nothing about the new GM or best trainer in the country joining the staff.
