I feel like if Griff can pull off one move and bring in 1 more quality piece, the melts will cease.

Several bloggers keep suggesting Hart S&T for Buddy or Barnes. I love Hart, but would really like Buddy on this team.

Any other moves that are feasible that you guys would like to see?

It is, but it does decline. With the last year being 18million, I think you could move that for another asset if needed. Though not thrilled, it’s the reason I’d be okay with Buddy

I don't see us taking on buddy and that contract.

Don't see them trading for brogdon. It would've already been done.

His big move was lowry, paul, or dinwiddie. There weren't many options for a big splash.

Davonte graham is a good player. If he would've added a powell or thj people would've been happy.

Should get a pick for taking on Buddy or Barnes IMO.

Both would be good gets here.

Yeah, I'm not sure why this board has suddenly fallen in love with Donkeyteeth again. He can be had, because he costs more than he provides. So, the pumpers are trying to convince themselves ahead of time that every player we have a chance at is the missing piece.

We've been hemorrhaging assets in every move we make this offseason. You're not getting any decent assets for an expiring Donkeyteeth.

Aren’t you one of the ones who was mad that we didn’t overpay a bunch of mediocre free agents yesterday?

First, I said an asset, and not necessarily a great one. It’s about what you project how the player will produce and reading the tea leaves of the NBA future. I’m predicting that Buddy will continue to shoot extremely well (maybe even better Han at SAC) especially when sharing the floor with Zion. I’m also predicting that shooting will continue to be a huge priority in NBA offenses, and the new TV contract will make 18 million not as big of a deal as it is now.

The only thing that I think would derail his value is if he’s unhealthy (obviously) or if shoot making increases to such a level in two years that Buddy’s skill set isn’t as rare of an elite skill as it is now.

If it goes as I predict, I could see the Pels getting a pick in the late 20s or a couple of semi useful bench players for Hield. I’m not saying it’ll be a big haul, but I don’t think he’ll be a negative asset, which minimizes the risk of obtaining him.
