Already solid-good teams Paul Pierce would fit in and improve a great deal:
Is this really true? Zach Lowe's podcast this week had a Nets beat writer so it was very Nets centric and 1) they are expecting decent assets in a S&T of Pierce while 2) Pierce was said to play a lot of stretch 4 making me think he doesn't have the speed anymore to defend SFs. So it sounds like he's both expensive to acquire and a bad fit.

What kind of deal is he looking for?
I don't know what kind of money he wants, but NJ is supposedly wanting JJ Reddick and/or a future 1st for a S&T of Pierce to the Clippers.

Probably my least favorite player in the league along with KG but that would be a great fit.
It would also be the only way to stop Monty's using AD to defend him.

Anyone else feel like the longer this logjam lasts, the more likely it is that LBJ leaves Miami?

Free agent Boris Diaw has reached agreement on three-year, $22M deal to return to Spurs, sources tell Yahoo. Partial guarantee on 3rd year.

It will be nice when we actually make a move
Posted on 7/6/14 at 7:37 pm to NorthshoreTiger76
No one is making moves right now

Yea I know the 10th. Everyone else is setting things up

Hey, I'm going to think outside the box a little bit. I think we should pick up a small forward.

No one has even made agreements. Everyone is just like us, waiting on Melo and Lebron to sign and then the rest of the dominoes will fall

Right now, everyone is tracking Dan Gilbert's private jet.
LINK
Also, Love, Kobe, and Melo maybe played a pickup game together at UCLA.
And Diaw reupped for 3/$22 w/ San Antonio while Farmar signed with the Clippers using the Bi-Annual Exception

All of this.

Yahoo reported Love didn't play with them.
Posted on 7/6/14 at 8:36 pm to Whodatforlife21
Woj said that he didn't but a UCLA assistant coach tweeted that all of them were there

All this flight tracker stuff is bringing me back to the college football coaching changes board

It's a pretty common occurrence for players to play pickup games at UCLA in the summer. It's a right of passage really. AD has done it twice that I'm aware of.

I played there plenty times. The University of Chalmette Louisiana. Amirite?

No doubt. Lots of guys play in the Drew League and will even pop up in Rucker Park during off season.
Just beggars belief that UFA Melo, demanding a trade Love, and coming off 2 major injuries Kobe would all be playing pick up at UCLA.
