That lineup just doesn't seem like it would work over 82 games, and would they just sign 10 minimum contract guys to make it happen? Kobe's contract and Lebron saying he's taking the max, there's very little left to go around. Add in Melo and it gets even dicier.

Jurgen Klinsmann was totally right about Kobe's contract.

I agree, especially with those egos clashing. But its just dumb that is what the NBA has become.

I don't see Bron going to the Lakers. But Melo seems to be leaning that way.

Kobe/Bron/Melo ain't coming out of the West. Which Lakers are matching up with the frontcourts of the (ahem) Pellies, Clippers, Warriors, Spurs, Thunder, and Grizzlies?

I don't see Bron going anywhere actually. And I think Melo would be dumb to go to the Lakers. His best chance for success remains in the East.

Agreed. Windhorst and Lowe talked about him signing a 2 year deal with a player option for year 2. That seems most likely to me- give or take Dan Gilbert's flight status. We could be doing this again next summer........

Agreed, though Melo in Phoenix would be fun. He should take a pay cut and head to Chicago. I doubt he does that.

Carmelo Anthony stands to sign a 100MM plus guaranteed contract. If he turns that down he's crazy

he'll sign with the Knicks then when they suck he'll start making waves again. Got to sign that paper first though

There's growing sense of desperation from the Heat. Miami is handcuffed w/ their attempt to improve the roster w/ uncertainty around LeBron.

Report: Sense around the league is that Carmelo Anthony is likely to choose between Knicks and Lakers dlvr.it/6F2CsC

Oh I wouldn't blame him at all for taking the money. He's earned it and someone is offering it. But if it's about winning a title, he needs to leave money on the table in NYK

On the one hand, Sources. Broussard is LeBron's personal propaganda tool. On the other hand there really isn't any more pressure to put on Miami, they just have limited moves available.

Chicago with Melo and healthy Derrick Rose could be scary good, the problem is that I have given up on Rose ever staying healthy.
