They were discussing Wade and Whiteside on the heat and because Whiteside is getting close to a max contract, the heat may not have enough to bring back Wade. Because of that they would have to probably lose Tyler Johnson and Josh McRoberts. It was then mentioned that Tyler Johnson may be a good fit for the Pelicans at around the deal that we were going to offer Lin.(Cap at $10 mil)

Going to somewhere on the west coast and getting paid more?
Do not really know Ryno outside of a handful of interactions with him, but quality of life and role seem important to him.

So far, I am happy with the Pelicans' free agency. We have not overspent for marginal talent yet like some other teams. I hope they stay cautious and let things shake out.

I'd love Tyler Johnson, but $10Mil is crazy for such an unproven player. Would be a very risky move
