get the mentor aspect. it's important. that's a lot of money to go from a top 5 pick to a top 10 pick next summer
maybe it pays off. I could easily see them being worse in 18/19, when they don't have a pick

Maybe they feel they can flip Hill for a first down the line?
Even though you have those three I don't think they move the needle enough to get them out of the top 5 next year...only teams worse are the Nets and arguably the Magic IMO. Bulls and Pacers will be bad too but they're in the East.

right they're still going to be bad.
if im a Kings fan, i would worry about Joeger trying to grind wins out w/ Hill, ZBo, and Carter. 2 extra wins were the difference between #5 and #10 this past year. which again, may not burn them at all. so who knows.
i'd have them above the Nets, Lakers, Suns, Bulls, and Hawks right now. then, there are the Knicks (could drop if they deal Melo) and Pacers and at least a couple of teams out west will fail below expectations :knocksfeverishlyonwood:

Avery Bradley traded to Detriot for Marcus Morris per Woj and Shams.

So what happens to KCP? Nets?
Posted on 7/7/17 at 9:05 am to Mystictiger
Yeah, but they can't sign him to an offer sheet until Wizards match Porter contract.

frick.

Bradley to Detroit is way better than Crowder to Utah.

Yes. Very true.
But seems cheap for Bradley. They must have given a pick.

Pistons talks w/Kentavious Caldwell-Pope haven't progressed, sources say. Possibility Pistons make him unrestricted or not match offer sheet
It sucks for Brooklyn that their cap space is tied up in the a futile Otto Porter offer.

Too bad we can't get in on KCP. Will be way way out of our price range.

Avery to Detroit is actually a pretty solid case scenario. He's not in the West and I highly doubt he'll want to stay in Detroit next summer

dude KCP is one of the most overrated players in the NBA. Hard pass especially for the money he wants

That's the cheap Morris brother. He gives you decent production for $5 million per year.
Posted on 7/7/17 at 9:35 am to TigerinATL
Yes but Avery is better than him. I feel like Boston could have gotten a better deal than that.
Posted on 7/7/17 at 9:37 am to TigerinATL
right. another tall, versatile wing who can offer some shooting. weird for them to add a 2nd and only get Morris for Bradley. that's lower return than what i would have guessed
they could run lineups out there w/ only guys 6'6" or taller and can switch everything.
do wonder if they look to move Crowder after this.

Part of it is that AB is probably not getting a max from the Celtics next year. Celtics might as well get something for him before he walks.

Methinks that Atlanta will now let Hardaway walk and will sign KCP
