Unfortunately I think this means Hayward is re-upping with Jazz. Him and Ingles are buds and share an agent.

That's great news. If they sign Hayward, they'll lose Hood next year. I would throw everything at Hood if he was available.

No room next year, so you'd be throwing MLE. Hayward staying in west is definitely a bad thing.

If I'm Hayward no way I stay in the West. Especially with the prospect of LeBron heading West next year. You could go to Boston or Miami and have a MUCH easier path to the title.

The Jazz basically saved him from falling out of the league and gave him the opportunity to become an NBA player after the Clippers cut him out of the blue when he thought he had made it. He might just be very comfortable in Utah.

5 reasons why he should go to miami:
1. Miami > Utah for a 27 year old
2. Your wife loves it
3. The path of you making more money for the next contract is that much easier (all those allstar starts!)
4. You actually compete EVERY year instead of this slugfest in the West
5. You know the organization has a history and they have a shot at turning into true contenders eventually.

I wonder if the shift of even more star power west has any affect on LeBron's decision next year. Does he really want to come to the West and lose that annual cake walk to the Finals?

Like I said before, easiest path in the East and to contend in the future = Boston
Easiest decision to the west = SA
