Still believes Lakers at top of the list for LeBron Capella is intrigued about the Lakers, LA scene with their young core if they offer the max, wants to make his own name
Boogie wants out of NOLA, wants Lakers badly
PG to Lakers is almost a lock
Colangelo issues is going to hurt Philly in free agency
I have no clue how legit he is, but from following his past posts, he has gotten a good bit of stuff right and some wrong. He’s like their version of Crewz.

The problem is that I do believe the Rockets poster in that Boogie is probably LA's 3rd or 4th option and he is going to wait it out.
You have to think they'll try for LeBron and George before going anywhere near a big money offer for Cousins. Even then, they'll probably look at some star trades before going after Boogie (Kawhi or DeRozan).
If he chooses to wait it out, it may not be good for him. There isn't much cap space out there this season, and he's only a fit for a couple teams. His best case scenario is that LeBron, Kawhi, and George all stay with their current teams, but that's doubtful IMO.

if you believe the rumors, PG is a lock.
so, the question remains "what will lebron do?"
if he doesnt go to the lakers, boogie would be an excellent fallback option...
they only have 39MM gtd for 18/19 and should be able to move deng with a pick. re-sign KCP & randle, add PG and DMC to ball, ingram, kuzma, and others...thats a good team even without lebrony

I don't believe this for a second.
I don't think George knows what he's going to do. I don't think he's going to go to the Lakers by himself, that would be incredible stupid.
What's worse than playing with Westbrook? Playing on that Lakers team without any other stars.
ETA: Moving Deng won't be very easy. And, if they are bringing back Randle and KCP they only have 50 mil in space, even if they trade Deng without bringing back any contracts.

But just because he is legit doesn’t mean the information he hears is always correct. But the owner of Clutchfans knows who he is, and he has vouched for him.

He doesn’t know jackshit about what Boogie wants. No one does but Boogie and his people.

He has Lakers ties and every big name FA he has inside info on wants to go to the Lakers. Sounds like it could be the good old Lakers sense of entitlement that he’s hearing.

Assuming Cousins is back in the fold at a number near the max, whether it’s for the long-term or short-term, the Pelicans will have to brace themselves for at least a couple of luxury tax years. They’ve never been in that position in the past, but this also looks to be the best team of the team’s era in New Orleans and with Gayle Benson giving every indication that she’s willing to spend to compete, the old days of cutting costs at every turn might be over in the Big Easy.

What are y'alls thoughts on the next Darius Miller from Europe?
I'm thinking Tyler Honeycutt. 6'8 athletic forward, NBA has been, somehow shot 49% from deep in Europe last year. Solid rebounder. His rate stats are really good in terms of blocks and steals.

Worth a shot.
I'm hopeful that DMC wants to go to Lakers and we can do a sign & trade to facilitate it.
We need young cheap assets to reload and try to swing for a better talent or to develop them over the next couple years.
Someone like kuzma could change the whole dynamic of the future for us. Either he's the future at sf/pf for us or he becomes the piece we need to trade for an Otto porter, khris Middleton, etc.

We would need to take back Deng, would you do it?

Is Kuzma a big 3 or a stretch 4? If he's just a stretch 4 then Niko >>>>> Kuzma + Deng. But he seems pretty damn fast, fluid and athletic. If he can defend on the wing too I wouldn't be so quick to turn down Deng and Kuzma's $19.5 million combined salary the next 2 years for a starting SF.

Deng is essentially done in the league and getting paid a huge amount of money to never play again. I get wanting to get Kuzma, but that is a massive price to pay.

The good thing about it would be that you pay ~19 mil for each of the next two seasons for Kuzma, but that third season, you no longer owe Deng and you have Kuzma for ~3.5m.
ETA: It would be almost like a reverse poison pill contract. It could also be an insurance policy for Mirotic, depending upon what he's going to want as a free agent.
ETA2: I also have no idea if Kuzma can play defense at either the 3 or 4

Exactly. Although I would think Lonzo would be the guy they give up to dump Deng. Kuzma sees like he'd fit with LeBron and PG a lot better than Lonzo, and if that's who they're trading, I go with Fun Bunch's answer of frick No.
