Once free agency opens at 6 PM ET, center Jonas Valanciunas is expected to commit to a three-year, $45M contract to return to the Memphis Grizzlies, league sources tell ESPN.

Wow I didn’t think he would get that much.

Lakers always seem to get what they want, but...what max guy do they wind up with?
butler seems to be likely for PHI, HOU or MIA
kawhi can go anywhere he wants, LAC or TOR seem likely but who knows
Harris can get 5 yr max at PHI
Middleton same at MIL
Durant’s not going there
Klay’s staying put
Kemba going to BOS
Kyrie to BKN
Russell maybe but reports are he wants MIN and they want him
who’s left?

Right now I think it’s Russell or they sign role players.

@ByTimReynolds
Not that this is a surprise - or means anything - but Jimmy Butler is expected to tell Miami officials tonight that he wishes to play for the Heat, per source.

Good luck to Miami, it’s going to be tough to pull off.

Which would require a three team sign and trade just like Houston would.
Richardson and olynyk would have to go out
I’d be down to help

Yeah that’s gonna be difficult for the heat to pull that off.

Miami is obsessed with being mediocre.

Also there is chatter that BOS is horfords mystery team
Would have to be a 3 team sign and trade with Kyrie, kemba and rozier first
shite could easily get crazy soon

I feel like Philly would want Richardson, but I’d be okay with taking Olynyk (I think).

I think Olynyk could be a good fit here. Only about 10-11 mil for the next year plus a player option after next year.

Boston would likely have to move Hayward if they do a double sign and trade with Rozier and Walker, what from I’ve read. We could get in on that, too.

Do we even want Hayward, tho?
Posted on 6/30/19 at 1:31 pm to GOP_Tiger
Nothing would surprise me at this point

If Minnesota gave us an unprotected (or very lightly protected) first, would you be down with taking on Dieng and Covington?
